Hello Bluebird: Snow Day

Hello friends! I hope you are enjoying the holiday season! It's sure been busy around here, but I do have a fun little winter scene card to share with you today that I created using the latest release from Hello Bluebird. I'm using the new Snow Day stamp set and Snow Day Dies along with the Winter Walk Scene Die.

I am totally in love with the new Winter Walk Scene die! It makes the most beautiful backgrounds for your winter scene cards! And who could resist those adorable little characters from the Snow Day stamp set. Paired together these two make one super cute card!  For the background, I cut all of the pieces from the Winter Walk Scene die out of Bristol Board cardstock and colored them with Distress inks. I used Salty Ocean and Wilted Violet for the sky and Weathered Wood for the mountains. I shaded the snowy hills with  just a bit of Tumbled Glass.

Each of the cute little critters were colored with Copic markers, cut out with the Snow Day Coordinating dies and added to my card with foam tape. The sentiment at the top was stamped with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today! Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy the holiday season!

Hugs,

Kay :)

Hello Bluebird: My Snowman

Hello Friends! I have a sweet winter card to share with you today using My Snowman, My Snowman dies and Tall Trees Scene Die,  some of the brand new products from the Hello Bluebird November release.

So for my card here, I used distress inks for the background. The colors I used are Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean and Speckled Egg. I then cut out the Tall Trees Scene die from white cardstock and glued this down to my background. I then speckle it all with more distress inks and white ink for the snow.

All of the cute images from the My Snowman stamp set were colored with Copic markers, cut out with the coordinating dies and added to the card with foam tape.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello Bluebird: Boo To You

Hello and spooky greetings to you! It's getting close to that time of year and I have created a fun Halloween card featuring some adorable little Hello Bluebird Bunnies out for a fun night of trick or treating!

For my card today I am using the Halloween Party stamp set and matching dies along with the Skating Pond Scene die all from Hello Bluebird.

So for this card I started by blending some Distress inks onto Bristol Board cardstock. I used Wilted Violet at the top and Salty Ocean and Mermaid Lagoon along the bottom, then speckled it with water. I then cut the Skating Pond die out of black cardstock and layered this over the blended piece.

All of the cute little images were colored with Copic markers, cut out with the coordinating dies and added to the card with foam tape.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello Bluebird: Woodland Littles Fall Scene Card

Hello all! I hope you are enjoying your weekend! I have a fun little fall scene card to share with you today using and the adorable Woodland Littles stamp set and coordinating dies from Hello Bluebird.

For my background, I blended Fossilized Amber and Tattered Straw distress inks onto Bristol Board cardstock, then spritzed with water and blotted. I did the same for the ground using Mowed Lawn and Crushed Olive.  I cut the birch trees out of white cardstock using the Birch Tree die, then lightly blended some Rusty Hinge distress ink along the edges.

I stamped the sentiment with black ink onto some white cardstock, then cut that out with the clouds die from the Grassy Knoll die set. I blended a tiny bit of Rusty Hinge distress inks on top and then speckled with the same. I added this to the top of my card with foam tape. All of the cute little images were colored with Copic markers, cut out with the coordinating dies, and added to the card with foam tape.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today! Happy weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello Bluebird: Fall Banner Buddies Scene Card

Hi there! I hope you all had a nice weekend. Although we've not really had any fall weather here yet, it is out of the 90's and I am hopeful! I am so ready for some cool dry sweater weather! As I am eagerly awaiting those fall days, I am making fall cards! Next to Christmas, fall cards are my favorite!

Today I'm using an adorable stamp set from Hello Bluebird called Fall Banner Buddies. Love those cute little critters!

I am loving making clouds right now too! These are fall clouds in oranges and yellows :) I used Distress inks for these and I created a stencil using the clouds from the Grassy Knoll  Dies. The colors I used are Ripe Persimmon, Fossilized Amber and Scattered Straw. I used a light bit of Mowed Lawn at the bottom for the ground.

All of the cute little animals and images were colored with Copic markers, cut out with the coordinating dies and added to the card with foam tape. The sentiment is included in the Fall Banner Buddies stamp set also.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hello Bluebird: Frightful Little Bits

Hi there! Hope you're enjoying your weekend! I had a little time to play this week with the adorable new Halloween stamp set from Hello Bluebird named Frightful Little Bits. So many cute little ghosts in this one! And I had so much fun creating some spooky clouds for them to fly around in :)

So for the background, I used the Grassy Knoll dies to create a stencil, and then used that with Distress inks to create the puffy clouds. The colors I used for the sky are Chipped Sapphire, Wilted Violet and Faded Jeans. I cut the hills out with the Hill and Dale dies, and then used Black Soot Oxide inks to color and speckle them.

All of the cute images were colored with Copic markers, cut out with the coordinating dies and added to the card with foam tape. I added the scalloped white frame around the edge using the Gallery Frame #2 die.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,

Hi there! I'm back with another cute card I created with the July release from Hello Bluebird! This card uses the adorable Garden Party stamp set and coordinating dies, along with the prereleased Hill and Dale dies and Grassy Knoll dies.

For the background on this card, I stenciled the sky and clouds in. What I did was create my own stencils using the Grassy Knoll dies. I then blended Blueprint Sketch and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide inks for the sky and clouds.

For the grassy hills I used Mowed Lawn and Crushed Olive Oxide inks and then cut them out with the Hill and Dale Dies.

All of the cute images were colored with Copic markers, cut out with the coordinating dies, and added to the card with foam tape.

I hope you have enjoyed my card! Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

I just think these are the cutest little Gnomes I have ever seen! And I had to use my favorite color combination, purple and blues!

For the background, I used Distress Oxide inks on all the individual pieces, spritzed them with water and then added more speckles with the same color inks.

For all of the cute little gnomes and other critters, I colored all of those with Copic markers, cut them out with the coordinating dies and added them to the card with foam tape.

Hello Bluebird: Beach Play

Hi there! I hope you are all enjoying the last days of summer. I am much more of a cooler weather lover, but I absolutely love beachy and tropical themed stamps and dies. Perhaps it's because I am originally from Florida and it's just in the blood :)

Anyway, I have a fun card to share with you today using some of the new Hello Bluebird July release. I have not done many of the new and trendy slimline dies, but I have to tell you, I'm kind of hooked now. These are so much fun and I love the way they turn out. Plus, you can cram so much more on a card ;)

On my card today I'm using the Beach Play stamps and dies, Come On In stamps and dies and the Ocean Waves Scene Horizontal die. They are all linked at the end of my post.

Isn't that fun! Look at all those cute little critters having fun at the beach! I love them! And the new slimline die... wow! It just turned out really neat I think! Lots of ink blending on those waves and sand. I added a few ink splatters to the sand as well.

All of the little images were colored with Copic markers. I cut them out with their coordinating dies and added them to the card with foam tape.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today! I'll be back soon with some more made with some more of the really cute Hello Bluebird July release!

All of these products are available now at Hello Bluebird. Everything is linked below!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello Bluebird: Good Company

Hi there! I hope you are enjoying your weekend! I have one more card to share with you using the latest release from Hello Bluebird! More of these cute bunnies from the Meadow Bunnies stamp set!

This is a pretty clean and simple card, but I thought those bunnies were enough to steal the show :) For the background, I blended Peacock Feathers and Mowed Lawn distress ink onto Bristol cardstock.  All of the bunnies were colored with Copic markers, fussy cut out and adhered with foam tape.

The sentient I used is from the Besties Stamp set.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today!

Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy your weekend and week ahead!

Hugs,

Kay :)

Hello Bluebird: Hello My Friend

Greetings! I hope your week is off to a good start! I have another card to share with you using some more of the adorable products from the Hello Bluebird latest release.

For my card today, I used the Besties stamp set for the cute little characters and sentiment, and the Pathway stamp for the background. I wanted to create a fall look to my scene, so I chose some fall-ish colors for the trees and bushes, mixing a little bit of orange and yellows in with my greens. Everything was colored with Copic markers. The little bear and bunny were fussy cut out and added with foam tape.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today!

Have a happy week ahead!

Hugs,

Kay :)
