The Greetery: Spring Market Release Day 2

Hello and welcome to the second day of reveals for the brand new Spring Market Collection from The Greetery

This beautiful new collection of stamps and dies will be available at The Greetery on Wednesday, April 28th at 10:00 am EST!

Today we are showcasing:

For my first card, I stamped the Fond of Foliage Background stamp onto blue cardstock using blue ink. I then stamped the beautiful tulips from the Flower Market Bouquet stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I added this to my card with foam tape.

I then stamped the bow from the Put A Bow on it stamp set, cut that out with the coordinating die and added it to the bouquet with foam tape. The tiny hello is from the Hoop Wreath stamp set and I added it to the bow with foam tape as well.

***

My next card uses the beautiful new Botanicuts: Tulips dies and Market Basket dies. I cut the basket and tulips out of white cardstock and colored them with Distress Oxide inks. I assembled them, then glued them all together in one piece before adding the whole thing to my card with foam tape.

I used some pattern paper for the liner of my basket. The tiny sentiment is from the Market Basket Sentients stamp set.

***

My last card uses the new Holding Hands stamp set and coordinating dies. I blended some Wilted Violet and Tumbled Glass Distress inks for my background. I then stamped all of the elements and die cut them using the coordinating dies. I added all of these to my card with foam tape and then stamped the sentiment underneath with black ink.

I cut her bracelet out of gold glitter cardstock and what is really fun is that I actually painted her nails with real fingernail polish! It's hard to tell in the photo, but they are really pretty!

My first card uses the beautiful new Always In Bloom Stamp set and coordinating dies, along with the Postal Frames Die set. I blended distress inks onto my white yardstick for the background, then cut that out with the Postal Frames largest die. I adhered this to my blue card base.

I stamped all of the flowers and sentiment from the Always In Bloom Stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating dies and added them to my card with foam tape.

For my next card, I used the new Always In Bloom Quick Card Stencils. These are so much fun and really make a pretty card! I just used the stencils with different colors of dye inks, then added a few little details to the flowers and leaves with my Copic markers.

I then speckled a little bit of the same colors of ink around the blooms and leaves and then I stamped the sentiment from the Digit Sentiments stamp set along the bottom.

***

My next card uses the new Bold Alphabet Die along with the Alpha Buds Bold Floral Details stamps and coordinating dies and the Let's Have a Word: Birthday die. I did some heavy blending with distress inks on the background and then speckled with the same colors. I used Wilted Violet and Salty Ocean. I then cut this panel out with the Crimped Slimline dies and added it to a slimline card base.

I cut the happy out of white cardstock using the Bold Alpha die and added these to the card with foam tape. I then cut out the birthday sentiment using the Let's Have a Word: Birthday die three times, layered these together and adhered them to my card with liquid glue. I stamped and cut out the pretty little flowers from the Alpha Buds Bold Floral Details and added them around the letters and words with foam tape.

***

My final card uses the new Bold Numbers dies, Alpha Buds Bold Floral Details stamps and dies and a few pinwheels from the Pinwheel Party stencils and coordinating dies. I first blended some Salty Ocean distress inks in the top and bottom corners. I stenciled and cut out the pinwheels and added them to the corners with foam tape.

I stamped the sentiment from Digit Sentiments stamp set and then die cut the numbers from the Bold Numbers dies and added them to the card with foam tape. I stamped and cut out the flowers using the Alpha Buds stamp set and dies and added them around the numbers and tucked a few into the pinwheels.

Hello all! I hope you have had a wonderful week so far. I have a card to share with you today using some pretty Spring products from The Greetery! I love mixing and matching stamp sets and dies from different releases. It's always fun to see what you can come up with using some of the older stamp sets with new things!

For the background, I blended some Broken China and Mowed Lawn distress inks and then speckled with Vintage Photo mixed with water.  I stamped all of the beautiful images and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

I added the wreath first with foam tape and then the bow. I tucked the flowers in behind the bow using liquid adhesive. I then added the sentiment and the sweet little wren with foam tape. The sentiment is from the Cotton Comforts stamp set. I used a die from the Sentiment Suite dies to cut it out.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today! Have a wonderful weekend!

Hello and welcome to the first day of reveals for the brand new Nature Lover Collection from The Greetery! It's a new year and with that comes a stunning new release! This beautiful new collection of stamps and dies will be available at The Greetery on Wednesday, January 20 at 10:00 am EST!

Today we are showcasing:

  • Love is stamp set (+ Boxwood Heart Base die)

  • Let’s have a word: love die

  • Boxwood Heart base die + details die

  • Wood Slice hearts

  • Love Song Sentiments

  • Mini Boxwood Heart Stamp + Cut combo

For my first card, I used the beautiful Love is stamp set along with the Boxwood Heart Base Die. I stamped the heart in two shades of green and added details with my Prismacolor colored pencils.  I added the flowers from the Fleur Impressions stamp set and Balloon Bouquet stamp set.

The background was created by blending some Broken China distress ink onto white Bristol Board cardstock. I then stamped the sentiment from the Love Song Sentiments stamp set with black ink, and layered the wreath over it with foam tape. I added the flowers and tiny bow with foam tape as well. The bow is from the Speed Tagging Sentiments stamp set.

***

My next card uses the new Boxwood Heart Detail Dies along with the Boxwood Heart Base. The sentiment is from the Mini Boxwood Heart stamp set and the love is from the Let's Have A Word: Love die.  For the background, I blended some Broken China Distress ink onto Bristol Board cardstock. For the wreath, I first watercolored a piece of white watercolor paper with green inks and then splattered it with more of the same color. I let this dry and cut it out with the Boxwood Heart Details die. I layered all of the pieces onto the white base cut from the Boxwood Heart Base die and then added it to my card with foam tape.

I stamped the sentiment with black ink inside the wreath and then layered the white love above it across the wreath.

***

So for my last card, I used the new Wood Slice Hearts dies. I cut the heart out of white cardstock and used Vintage Photo Distress ink to color it. I added speckles of more of the same color. For the background on my card, I used Worn Lipstick Distress inks and blended on white cardstock. I added the wood heart to my card base with foam tape.

The flowers are from Birthday Blooms stamp set and Blessed Blooms stamp set. I stamped them and cut them out with the coordinating dies and added them to the heart with foam tape. The tiny bow is from the Speed Tagging Sentiments stamp set and the two tiny little hearts are from the Signed and Sealed with a Kiss stamp set.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing my projects today! I'll be back tomorrow with more wonderful projects with the new Nature's Lover Collection!

The Greetery - TGIF Wishing You Joy

Hi All! I'm up on The Greetery Blog today for the TGIF post and I wanted to share it here with you as well.

It is already December 11th and although most of my Christmas cards are already in the mail, I am still making them just because I love to. Christmas cards are my favorite to make and honestly, I make them all year long.

So today I have one to share with you using some older and newer Christmas products.

For the background, I used the Frosty Flakes stencil and and blended Wilted Violet Distress inks onto Bristol Board cardstock.  I blended mostly just around the edges leaving the center lighter to make my focal point pop.

I stamped the images from the With Love At Christmas Time in pretty pinks and purples, cut them out with the coordinating dies and added them to my card with foam tape. The Joy sentiment is from the Written in Ribbons stamp set and it was cut out with the coordinating dies and added with foam tape as well. The wishing you sentiment is also included in the Written In Ribbons stamp set and it was heat embossed with white embossing powder.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today and I hope you are enjoying the holiday season and making lots of fun cards and Christmas projects!

Hugs,

Kay :)

My first card features the new Boho Banner Dies. I cut the background piece out of some
turquoise cardstock and the fringe and tassels out of a darker shade. I adhered all of the pieces together and added the banner to my card with foam tape.

My next card uses the Macrame Borders & Tassels and Macrame Diamonds. The sentiment is from the Hoop Wreath Stamp set.

I cut out all of the pieces using red, pink and white cardstocks and then arranged them in a pleasing design. This was really fun by the way! :)

I stamped all of the flowers and greenery in Christmas shades, cut them out with the coordinating dies and added them to my card with foam tape.
