Tis The Season

Hi there! I hope you are enjoying the holiday season! I have been making a lot of holiday cards behind the scenes here and thought I would share one of those with you today. I just purchased these two stamp sets and had so much fun working with them!

I used the Tis The Season Stamp set and Tis The Season Dies from My Favorite Things along with Stained  Glass Greetings  from Simon Says Stamp. The gingham was stamped with the Micro Gingham Background stamp from Ink Blot.

I used Distress inks for the blended background and sprinkled with water. All of the cute images were colored with Copic markers, cut out with the coordinating dies and added  to the card with foam tape.

Both of the sentiments were stamp with Versamark ink and embossed with white embossing powder. The Merry was cut out with the coordinating die, and both were adhered with foam tape.

All of the supplies I have used here are linked below.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

My Favorite Things November Release

Hello there! I am excited to share a couple of cards I made with some of the beautiful new products from the My Favorite Things November release!

For my first card, I used the Snowflake Window die and the adorable Little Angels stamp set and dies. I cut the snowflake window out of my card front and added some patterned paper behind it. I cut a frame out of Stone Gray card stock using the Stitched Mini Scalloped  Rectangle STAX and a rectangle die. I added the frame with foam tape.

The pretty little angel was colored with Copic markers, cut out with the coordinating dies, and added to the card with foam tape. The sentiment was heat embossed with white embossing powder and cut out with a banner die. I added it to the card front with foam tape as well.

For my second card, I used the Christmas tree Window along with another of the angels from the Little Angels stamp set. I cut the tree window out of white card stock, and layered it over a piece that I had blended Distress ink onto. I mounted this on top of a Stone gray rectangle.

The little angel was colored with Copic markers, cut out with the coordinating dies, and added with foam tape. The sentiment was heat embossed with white embossing powder, cut out with a banner die and added with foam tape. I added Stickles to the ornaments and the star, but it doesn't show up very well in the photo.

Thanks so much for stopping by! All of the products I have used for these cards are listed and linked below.

My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge

Hi there! I'm back again today with another card for the  Wednesday Sketch Challenge at My Favorite Things!

So for my card today, I used Summer Splash card stock and stamped the Bundle of Blossoms background stamp with Summer Splash ink. I then cut out a hexagon with the Stitched Hexagon STAX dies and blended some blue distress ink onto it. I adhered the background to an A2 size card base and added the hexagon with foam tape at the top and cut the top edge off flush with the card.

All of the images were colored with Copic markers and cut out with the coordinating dies. They were adhered to the hexagon with foam tape. The sentiment was heat embossed with white embossing powder and cut out with one of the Fishtail Flag dies.

Hi there! I am super excited to be joining My Favorite Things today, with their new monthly feature MFT & Friends, showcasing their new April release

For my card today, I used the adorable new stamp set called A Tweet Hello along with the matching A Tweet Hello Die-namics. I started by embossing the sentiment onto black licorice card stock. I cut that out with a fishtail banner die, then adhered it across the center of my A2 white card with foam tape.

I colored all of the cute images with Copic markers, cut them out with the coordinating dies, and adhered them in a fun pattern with foam tape. This was a very simple card to make, but lots of fun!

My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge Guest

Hi there Friends! I am excited to be guesting with My Favorite Things this month for their Wednesday Sketch Challenge!

For my card, I used the adorable new stamp set Puddle Jumper, along with the London Skyline die, to create a drizzly day for the cute little guy with the umbrella. I used Iced Spruce Distress ink on Bristol Board for the background. This was sprinkled with water too. I cut the London Skyline out of Steel Blue card stock and glued that along the bottom. I glued a strip of black on top of that to look like pavement.

I cut the top part out of Smooth White Card stock at an angle and stamped the sentiment in black ink. I then added a strip of patterned paper along the top. The cute image was colored with Copic markers, cut out with the matching die, and adhered with foam tape.

Here is the sketch for this week if you'd like to play along!

The sponsor for today is Seven Hills Crafts. They are a UK based store which sells products from lots of my favorite stamp companies! I chose to use some products from My Favorite Things and Lawn Fawn for my projects today.

For this card, I used the Pierced Circle dies along with the Scenic Snowglobe Die-namics from MFT to create a fun snow globe. The snowflakes in the background are the Mini Stitched Snowflakes from Lawn Fawn, and I just glued those to my background circle and trimmed the edges off.

The sentiment is from the Snowglobe Sentients stamp set, and I embossed it with white embossing powder on black card stock. I also added some snow to the trees with white acrylic paint.

For my second card, I used the Stitched Arch STAX from MFT to create my snow globe. For the background, I stamped the Snowy Backdrop from Lawn Fawn with white pigment ink and also splattered a little bit of white ink to create a snowy look.

The sentiment is also from the Snow Globe sentiments stamp set and it's embossed with white embossing powder.

Each day there's a prize up for grabs from a special sponsor! Please be sure to show our sponsors some love, as they have been very generous in giving their support and time to this event. As mentioned, this year every single sponsor is also a part of the hop on their own blogs so be sure to visit them. :)
