12 Days Of Christmas with a Feminine Twist

Hello! I am super excited to be participating in the 12 Days of Christmas Tags with a Feminine Twist  again this year! Each day one of their talented designers and a guest designer will be showing off their tags created from a different theme. Today  I am the guest designer for the very talented Julia Stainton! I have created a tag with products from  My Favorite Things using a glitter  theme!

You can see all of the beautiful tags in the Ellen Hutson Classroom!!

I hope you can see my glitter. I promise I used glitter on this! To create my tag, I used a scalloped circle die and glued a round tag on the back so there would be a hanger at the top. I then used the pierced circle dies to cut out the patterned paper for the background. I colored the cute little elf with Copic markers and I glittered up his hat and the white on the stocking with Crystal Stickles from Ranger.

I stamped the pine from Lawn Fawn, cut it out and tucked some behind the little elf, along with a couple of snowflakes from MFT. The sentiment is heat embossed with white on black card stock. I also added glitter to the pine and the snowflakes! It's Christmas time! You can't have too much glitter! :)

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Ellen Hutson - My Favorite Things Mix It Up Challenge

Hello!

I'm excited to be joining the Essentials by Ellen Mix it Up Challenge this month creating a card that features products from two of my favorite companies, My Favorite Things and Essentials by Ellen!

My card is up on the My Favorite Things blog as well as The Ellen Hutson Classroom, but I'm allowed to share it with you here on my blog too! Yay! :)

I started by watercoloring a background with my favorite watercolors, Peerless. I tired to use colors for the background that I knew would match the colors of the flowers and leaves I was planning on using. I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Bohemian Garden stamp set with MFT dye inks then took a watercolor brush and went around the edges with water to blend the colors for a bit of a watercolor look. I cut them all out with the matching dies and adhered them with foam tape.

I used the Label Maker sentiments and the Stars & Wishes Die-namics to create the sentiment, then added a few Pretty Pink Posh sequins to finish it up!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Check out the Ellen Hutson Classroom to play along with this challenge! All of the products I used are listed and linked below!

Ellen Hutson 12 Tags of Christmas With a Feminine Twist

Hello! I am so excited to be joining a group of very talented designers and guest designers for this year's 12 Tags of Christmas With a Feminine Twist! Each day one of their talented designers and a guest designer will be showing off their tags created from a different theme. Today  I am the guest designer for the very talented Julia Stainton! We have both created tags featuring stamps and dies from Ellen Hutson and My Favorite Things using a snowflake theme!

You can see all of the beautiful tags in the Ellen Hutson Classroom!!

Here is mine!

I did a little ink blending on my white tag with some Summer Splash dye ink. The snowflakes, holly leaves, and flower are from the Winter Warmth and Snowflake Flurry stamp sets from My Favorite Things, and the pine branches and sentiment are from the Essentials by Ellen Mistletoe & Holly collection.

I doubled up the tags and before adding my silver ribbon and string. I also embossed a few white snowflakes on the underneath tag before blending the ink onto it. I added some Wink of Stella to the flower and a few clear PPP sequins when I was done.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure and check out the Ellen Hutson Classroom to see all of the beautiful projects!

All of the supplies I used are linked below!
