I have a new card to share with you created with a beautiful stamp from Pink Ink Stamp Company!
I really had fun coloring this one! I used my Zig Clean Color Brushes and got a little carried away. I was afraid that it looked like the perhaps the pot of flowers was exploding with all of those little dots I put around it, but after letting it sit for awhile and then going back to look at it, I decided I liked it :)
I stamped this with MFT's hybrid black ink and watercolored it with Zig Clean Color brushes. I'm loving those!! After it dried I added a few highlights with my white gel pen, and all those fun little dots with Copic markers. I then cut it out using the Stitched Rectangle dies from Lawn Fawn. Lastly I mounted it with Fun Foam to a top folded card.
Here's a close up view of the explosion going on! I just thought the dots were fun :)

Oh Kay...this is glorious! Those pens seem to be the bee's knees! What a delightful mix of color! The watercolored background is a perfect backdrop for all those beautiful flowers to shine. I adore the addition of the dots, too. And the white gel pen. Every detail of this card is perfection. Love! :)

ReplyDeleteI really LOVE this card, Kay! The dots are so fun, and bring the eye right to your beautiful bouquet of flowers...so pretty! Glad to know you're loving your Clean Color Brushes, too! I ordered them and they were shipped (from Japan) yesterday...I should have them sometime in August...yikes, can I wait that long? Guess I have no choice :)
ReplyDeleteWOW!! This is so pretty!! I love the way you painted the bouquet and I LOVE the little dots around the image. I just received my Zig markers yesterday. I have not played with them yet-I am a bit scared!!

ReplyDeleteKay, this is just terrific! I love the everything you've done with this design (including those wonderful "dots"). I haven't used my Zig Clean Color Brushes yet (can you believe that?!). I also have a Pink Ink stamp I haven't used yet as well -- think I'll give them both a test drive (she smiles).

ReplyDeleteYour explosion of colourful flowers...simply divine! Gorgeous! A set of 12 Zigs made their way to my place and I just can't seem to get them to work for me! Grrr...Any tips would be soooo appreciated! I've even watched Jennifer McGuire's videos a zillion times...I'll keep practicing (which is why I need to buy watercolour paper *grin*)
