Hi there! Welcome to the first day of the November Neat & Tangled release countdown! All of the new products will be available in the Neat & Tangled Store on Friday November 10th at 8:00 am EST!
This months release is filled with so many cute things that are so perfect for your holiday card and gift making! I had so much fun playing with everything!
My first card uses the new Tree Stencils and the Warm Winter Scene Cover Plate which you will be seeing more of later this week ;) I blended some blue ink along the top of my white card panel, and then stenciled the trees. The top row I used a lighter green, then for the lower row, a green a little bit darker. I added two snowy hills along the bottom that I cut with the new Stitched Slope dies which you will be seeing more of later this week also.
I blended some Festive Berries Distress ink onto some white card stock and then cut the houses out of that. I added some yellow card stock behind them to make it look like the lights were on in the houses. I then tucked all the houses in behind the snow drifts with some liquid adhesive. I stamped the sentiment which is from the Scandinavian Prints Christmas set. When I was all done, I speckled the whole card with some white ink.

For my second card I am using the new Wishing You Love stamp set. I love the large sentiment paired up with the house and little trees from the Warm Winter Scene Cover Plate. I used my MISTI stamping tool to stamp the sentiment in multiple colors from aqua to dark green at the bottom.
I blended some distress ink onto a piece of white card stock, and cut out the house and two trees from the Warm Winter Scene Cover Plate. I added the house with foam tape ,and just glued the two trees flat. I added some tiny dots of snow with a stylus and some white acrylic paint.
Be sure to stop by the Neat and Tangled Blog to see all of the design team inspiration!
Don't forget - there is a giveaway every day this week of the set(s) being featured that day, and a $25 gift certificate up for grabs at the end of the week. Comment on all of the design team blogs all week for a chance to win. Winners will be announced on the Neat & Tangled Blog Friday at 7:30am EST!
Fantastic work, Kay! So bright and festive. I like the two greens in the stenciled trees and the color palette of the first card. I really like how the sentiment seems to glow in the second card. Excellent work! Hugs! Have a happy day.
