MFT November Release Countdown Day 5

Hello Friends!

This is the first  day of the My Favorite Things  November Release Countdown!  This new release is packed with amazing new stamps and dies. Everything you need to start getting ready for the Holiday Season! I am so excited to share my projects with you! I LOVE everything about this new release!! Be sure to check out the MFT blog for a full reveal of today's featured stamps and dies, and mark your calendar for Tuesday, November 3rd, at 10 p.m. EST when all of the fabulous new products will be available in the MFT online store!

My first card features the new Peek-A Boo Wonky Windows Die-namics by Lisa Johnson along with the adorable new Toasty Greetings stamp set by Birdie Brown!

If you liked the little summertime penguins that came out earlier this year, wait until you see the winter ones! Along with their snowmen friends, they are adorable! I colored everything with Copic markers. I used the Peek A Boo Wonky Windows Die-namics for the frame. It's cut out of Cool As A Cucumber card stock. Oh love that new green! I added a couple of snowflakes from the Snowflake Flurry stamp set, and the hanging mittens are from the Cool Day stamp set.

My next card features the adorable snowman from the Toasty Greetings stamp set. I again colored everything with Copic markers first, cut them out with the matching Die-namics and adhered them with foam tape. The sentiment was stamped on Black licorice card stock and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I used a strip of green chevron paper from the Calm & Cozy Chevrons paper pack as a border down the side, and I sponge a little bit of Summer Splash onto my white card base for a hint of some sky behind my snow guy. I cut the snowy hill with the snow drift die-namics. A few Pretty Pink Posh sequins finishes if off perfectly!

My last card for the day features the really fun Toasted Marshmallows Die-namics. I watercolored my background with Peerless watercolors. I stared with orange and yellows in the middle and did the blues around the edges, to give the illusion of a fire in the night. After it was dry I splattered it with plain water to get the white spots. I cut the marshmallows out of smooth white card stock and sponged a little bit of brown at the bottom, so they would look toasty. I adhered them and the sticks to my watercolored piece with foam tape. The sentiment was stamped from the Get Toasty stamp set with black licorice ink.

I added a few PPP sequins for last!

See you tomorrow for Day 4!!

Hugs,

Kay :)
