Sunny Studio: Balloon Rides

Hi there! I have a card over on the Sunny Studio Blog today and wanted to share it here on my blog as well. I'm using one of their adorable new stamp sets Balloon Rides and Balloon Rides coordinating dies along with the Country Scenes Stamp set and Country Scenes coordinating dies.

So first off, I created a background for my scene by blending some Evergreen Bough and Fossilized Amber Distress inks onto watercolor paper. I added some speckles of white ink when it was dry.  I then colored all of the cute images from the Balloon Rides stamp set and Country Scenes stamp set with Copic markers and cut those out with the coordinating dies.

For the grass in front, after coloring with Copic markers, I speckled it with some darker green ink and then a bit of white too. I adhered all of the elements to the card with foam tape, then heat embossed the sentiment onto black cardstock, cut that out and added it along the bottom of the card.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Kay :)
