The Greetery: Merry Makings Collection Day 1

Hello and welcome to the first day of  full reveals for the Merry Making Collection coming to The Greetery! If Christmas is your thing, like it is mine, you are going to be in heaven with all of the beautiful new products!

All of the products that I am using today will be available at The Greetery this Friday October 9th at 10 EDT.

Today we are showcasing:

  • Written in Ribbons Holiday Stamp and die
  • Merry Sprigs stamp and dies
  • Wood Slices die
  • Banner &  Bough stamp + stencil and die

For my first card I used a the Frosty Flakes stencil from last year to stencil a light background. I then speckled with dark brown ink. I used the new Wood slices die to create the beautiful wood slice. I colored it with Vintage Photo distress inks and speckled with more brown ink and some white ink. I then added some greenery from the Merry Sprigs stamp set and the Joy is from the new Written in Ribbons: Holiday stamp set.

When everything was adhered to the card with foam tape, I speckled with more white ink to make it look snowy.

My next card uses the new Banner & Boughs stamp+stencil and die kit. I first blended some blue ink and speckled for the background. Then I followed the instructions on the sheet that comes with the kit and stenciled and stamped all of the different parts to create an absolutely gorgeous winter bouquet! I cut the whole thing out with the coordinating die and added it to my card with foam tape. The banner was stenciled and stamped as well, then cut out with the coordinating die and added with foam tape too.

Afterwards, I added some Nuvo drops to the center of the flowers and some Stickles to the pink berries. Oh I just love the way this turned out!

And now my last card, I combined all of the new products for today into one card! I stamped and stenciled the Banner & Boughs for the background, added a wood slice with foam tape, then a few sprigs from the Merry Sprigs stamp set, then stenciled, and die cut the pretty banner to go across the front. Everything was speckled with a bit of white ink to make it look snowy :)

I hope you have enjoyed seeing my projects today! I'll be back tomorrow with more wonderful Christmasy things!
