Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week: Rawrsome

Hi there! It's Inspiration week on the Lawn Fawn blog and we have lots of fun projects to share with you over the next few days featuring the new Spring Release from Lawn Fawn

Today we are showcasing a really cute stamp set called Rawrsome.

For this card, I watercolored a background using Peerless watercolors. I did some sky, green grass and a few darker green trees in the background. I pretty much covered it all up with the cute images, but I think it looks kind of neat. The trees are from the Stitched Tree Borders, and I used Distress inks to color them. They were then glued flat to the background panel. The panel was cut out with one of the Stitched Rectangle dies.

All of the cute images were colored with Copic markers, cut out with the coordinating dies, and added with foam tape. Then the sentiment was stamped with black ink along the top.

Be sure and check out the Lawn Fawn Blog for more inspiration from the Design team!

You can find all of the Lawn Fawn products in the Lawn Fawn Store!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. I adore your cards, Kay! You create some of the best scenes. How do you know how far to color a section a particular color before changing it? I guess you must have the elements colored first, then do the background, huh? Knowing me, I'd do that background first and struggle to fit the elements. LOL Thanks so much for sharing your talents! hugs!
