Hello and welcome to the final group post for the August Papertrey Ink Release! The new products you are seeing here will be available in the store at Papertrey Ink on August 15th at 10:00 EST.
Today we are showcasing Erin's adorable new Halloween Stitching dies! They are all so fun! I wish I had more time in the day and I would make a whole tree of ornaments with these cuties!
I used the Stitched Witches Hat die on my ornament and added some flowers from the Sewing Staples: Floral Clusters. So yeah, even witches need flowers don't you think? :)
I used Plum Pudding felt for the ornament and cut it out with the Stitched Circle Dies. I cut the hat out of Smokey Shadow and sewed around it with two strands of black DMC floss.
All of the flowers and leaves were stitched on with coordinating colors of DMC floss as well, and I added a few white Mill Hill seed beads too. I stitched around the entire ornament with black floss, then added a bow and hanger at the top with some Baker's Twine.
And I could not help but make a couple of these cute little candy corn! They were made with the Stitched Candy Corn dies. I used white DMC floss for the whole thing. They were quick, easy and tons of fun! I'm going to make a lot of these to go on my Halloween tree!
DIES: Stitched Witch Hat, Sewing Staples: Floral Cluster, Stitched Circles, Stitched Candy Corn
FELT: Smokey Shadow, Plum Pudding, Raspberry Fizz, Orange Zest, Lemon Tart, Winter White, Simply Chartreuse, Hibiscus Burst
OTHER: DMC embroidery floss, Baker’s Twine, Mill Hill white seed beads
