Today the Papertrey Ink design team is showcasing the new Stamp-a-faire Exclusive stamp set, Art With Heart! Featuring several art themed sentiments done in an artistic brushstroke along with a multi-layer floral arrangement that has a gorgeous handprinted look. It is so beautiful! I've created two cards with the new set in different colors. I hope you like them!
This stamp set is so easy to use! I did not even have to use the MISTI here. This was all stamped just one time, by hand, and all eyeballed! They are super easy to line up, and if they are not lined up just perfectly they still look amazing! I used Pale Peony for the lighter flowers and Hibiscus Burst for the darker ones. The centers are Scarlet Jewel. The leaves I stamped with Green Parakeet and the sentiment with Ripe Avocado. I cut the whole stamped panel out with the Noted Scalloped A2 stitched rectangle die, then I added a strip of Pale Peony striped paper across my card base before adhering the panel with foam tape.
The sentiments in this set are beautiful too! So unique and different from what is usually found in stamp sets. Love them!

Here is the one I did with blues. I think they are just as gorgeous in the blues as the pink! I used Hawaiian Mist for both the dark and the lighter flowers. I sponged a little bit of the ink off of my stamp before stamping the lighter flowers. The centers are Tropical Teal and the leaves are Spring Moss. I again cut the panel out with the Noted Scalloped A2 stitched rectangle die and mounted that onto an Aqua Mist card base.

ReplyDeleteI'm excited to see a video!! Sometimes we are pulled out of our comfort zone and it's all worth it!! You are so talented! We appreciate that you share it with us!!! ❤️
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Kay! 'Kicking and screaming made me laugh'! I can't imagine anything slowing you down for a minute! You're always up for a challenge and I'm so glad! Looking forward to tomorrow! There's a big estate sale right across the street from us in the morning, so I have to go to that first thing. Rather sad in a way, the end of an era for that family. It'll be great to have something to distract me from all the hubbub when I come back home! :D
ReplyDeleteSimply gorgeous! Looking forward to this weekend and all the inspiration!
