Hello and welcome to the first group post for the March Papertrey Ink Release! The new products you are seeing here will be available in the store at Papertrey Ink on March 15th at 10:00 EST.
Today's post is all about birthdays! And my daughter has one coming up in July, so I created these cards with her in mind. I can't believe she will be 14! Where oh where has the time gone?
We are showcasing some really fun stamps and dies today, Sprinkles On Top by Erin Lincoln, Frosted Border Dies, by Erin also, Just Desserts by Lizzie Jones, and Big Birthday Candle Dies.
So after I finished all three of my birthday cards, this is the one that I chose for my girl. She's not a real girly girl, but she does love pink, and I think she will love the Big Birthday candles on it.
I die cut the candles out of white, Bright Buttercup, and Hibiscus Burst card stock, and layered those back together. They are adhered with foam tape just under the edge of the Frosted Border. The top frosting I sponged a little bit of Hibiscus Burst ink along the bottom, and the one layered underneath is just cut out of Hibiscus Burst card stock. I stamped the sentiment on Lovely Lady + White paper and I added a white Frosted Border die cut along the bottom.
I added a couple of flowers and leaves from the Be stamp set, and a few sequins. . I think she will love it!

DIES: Big Birthday Candles, Frosted Borders, Be

I really loved how this one turned out, on the Confetti Toss Paper with that adorable little cake! I stamped the cake and flowers and die cut those. They are adhered with foam tape to my card, which I covered with a piece of paper from the Confetti Toss Paper Pack.

This was a really fun card to make! I love the new Sprinkles on Top stamps! I stamped the sprinkles border in Raspberry Fizz, Hibiscus Burst, and Sweet Blush. The MISTI helped me get them all lined up nicely :) The flowers are from the Just Dessert set. I added them along the top edge of the stamped sprinkles with foam tape.
