Hello again!
I am back again for day 4 of the My Favorite Things Release Countdown! You are in for a treat today! The stamp sets and dies we are featuring today are beyond cute! A new set from Birdie Brown full of Christmas goodness and the cutest new dies ever!
Be sure to check out the My Favorite Things Blog to see a full reveal of today's products, and to see what all the other fabulous design team members have done! All of the new products will be available Tuesday, October 6 at 10:00pm EST!
Isn't that the cutest little elf you have ever seen?! I watercolored my background with Peerless watercolors. The stamps were colored with Copic markers and cut out with the matching Die-namics then adhered with foam tape. The sentiment was stamped on Black Licorice card stock and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I added a few clear 4mm Pretty Pink Posh sequins last.

My next card features the Fireplace Die-namics. This is such a fun die! I had so much fun putting this card together! The background and floor are papers from the Fresh Squeezed Chevron paper pack and the Calm and Cozy Paper Pack. The fireplace is Grout Gray card stock and I stenciled the brick pattern on it with the Grout Gray dye ink. The inside of the fireplace I sponged with distress inks to create the blended background. The little cuffs on the top of the stockings were cut from glittered fun foam, and the greenery on top of the mantle is the Winter Wreath Die-namic cut apart and assembled to look like sprigs of pine.
The little bow on top is from the Creative Clips Die-namics, and the baseboard along the bottom of the fireplace is stamped with the Sketched Chevron background stamp.
Well would you look at that!! Santa is all spiffed up in his red jacket and green pants! :) This is the new Santa suit Die-namics and it is SO cute! I couldn't stand to just make a traditional Santa suit though, so I had to throw in the green pants and a little flower for his coat! I stamped the pants with the Sketched Chevron background stamp and the red part of his coat with the Crosshatch background stamp.
And that is it for me today!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Don't forget to stop by the MFT blog to see more wonderful things the design team has done with these fun new products!
Be back tomorrow with day 3 of the countdown!
Hugs,
Kay :)

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness gracious...that elf has got to be one of THE cutest elves I have ever seen. He's right up there with the one in the Christmas show...Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Remember the one who wanted to be a dentist? That is who I thought of when I saw this cutie! (Gosh hope I got the right show..there are a few like that one). He is colored perfectly and that sentiment is terrific, too. Fab card. Then I move onto the fireplace. I cannot believe the detail and you picked the perfect gray for the bricks. Smart move to cut apart the wreath. You have such attention to detail! And that Santa card. Another winner! I predict that the store will not be able to keep these products in stock because you make everyone wanna buy them! I think that is the case with those Harvest Mice from the previous release, too. Can't find 'em in stock anywhere. You are that good, my friend! :) Have a fabulous weekend! Hugs!

ReplyDeleteKay, one of the things that makes a card really special to me is when I look at it, look at the supplies used, and have to go back and forth to see how the supplies were used. I had to do that with both of your cards today. Absolutely fantastic design work. Thank you so much for sharing! Seriously. I love learning and being challenged. Fantastic, new ideas, new ways to use old supplies, love your floor and walls with the fireplace, would not have thought of that and did not notice it right off, just fantastic!
