Hello again!
I am back for day 2 of the My Favorite Things Release Countdown! I can't believe it is whizzing by so fast! Only 2 more days until all of the fabulous new stamps and dies will be available!
Be sure to check out the My Favorite Things Blog to see a full reveal of today's products, and to see what all the other fabulous design team members have done! All of the new products will be available Tuesday, October 6th, at 10:00pm EST!
My first card is featuring the super fun new die-namics Stitched Cover-Up Companion Diagonal.
I filled in the spaces behind the Diagonal Cover Up with some paper from the Fresh Squeezed Chevron paper pack at the top, and for the bottom I stamped a piece of green room card stock with the Crosshatch background stamp. I stamped the little red garland and sentiment from the Trim The Tree stamp set across the diagonal. I clustered some flowers and leaves from the Fall Florals stamp set and Modern Blooms stamp set, along with some snowflakes from Snowflake Flurry, on the left side for my focal point.
A close up view of my little Christmas floral bouquet :)

This next card features the new Cool Cup die-namics from Laina Lamb! Oh it's fun! I sponged some Vintage Photo Distress ink onto watercolor paper, speckled it with water before cutting the cup out. The foam on the top, I just sponged a tiny bit along the bottom for a shadow. The wrapper around the cup is stamped with the new Sketched Chevron Background stamp and the papers are from the Calm & Cozy Chevron paper pack.
The sentiment is from the Stay Cool stamp set and I added a few sand and Marshmallow sequins to finish it off! Such a fun card!
I hope you have enjoyed seeing all of the new products in use! They are so awesome!

ReplyDeleteBoth cards are terrific. I really like the strip going across the diagonal on the first card. Your cluster looks fantastic. I can see this die being fun with using different papers or making them into shakers. Great colors on your version! :) The cup die is neat.
