Hello again!
I am back for the last day of the My Favorite Things Release Countdown! It has flown by and there are only mere hours until all of the fabulous new stamps and dies will be available!
Be sure to check out the My Favorite Things Blog to see a full reveal of today's products, and to see what all the other fabulous design team members have done! All of the new products will be available tomorrow, October 6, at 10:00pm EST!
Today I am sharing some cards made with the new Snowflake Flurries stamp set and Die-namics along with the Joyous Christmas Sentiments!
I used watercolor paper for this card and my Peerless watercolors. I did not wet my paper first because I did not want these colors to run together. I just painted a bit of blue, green and pink where I wanted my blue, green and pink snowflakes to go. I let this dry very good, then I stamped the sentiment from the Hand Lettered Holiday stamp set with black licorice hybrid ink. I stamped the snowflakes with summer splash, green room, and bubblegum dye inks, then adhered them to this panel with foam tape. I mounted this onto a top folded smooth white card base, then I had to add a few Pretty Pink Posh sequins :)

Did a little watercoloring on this card as well. I used Peerless again, this time stamping the sentiment with black licorice ink before watercoloring. After the watercoloring was dry, I flicked it with water to make the light spots. I then cut out this watercolored panel with the stitched rectangle from Blueprints 20 and adhered this to my horizontal smooth white card base with foam tape. I colored the little ornaments with Copic markers, cut them out with the matching Die-namics, and adhered them with foam tape.
Make sure you hop on over to the My Favorite Things Blog to see a full reveal of today's products, and to see what all the other fabulous design team members have done! And don't forget, tomorrow, October 6th, at 10:00pm EST all the new products will be in the MFT Online store! Can't wait!

Gosh, these are so pretty, Kay. You add such lovely interest with your watercolors. You have a master's touch with them. I need to pick up some that Master's Touch paper. If I did that, would my watercoloring look as good as yours? Ha, ha! Most likely not. :) Seriously though, your cards are bright, fun and oh so festive. Thanks for sharing!
