Hello! I have a cute tropical card to share with you today using the Birds of Paradise stamp set, Blissful Blooms and Die-namics from My Favorite Things. Fall and winter are on their way, so I am squeezing one more summer card in before you are inundated with all things Christmas!
So for this card, I started with watercolor paper. I stamped the Fleur De Lis background stamp with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I then wet my whole piece liberally and dabbed green and blue Peerless watercolors over it. I let this dry completely, then cut it down and mounted it to my Smooth white card base. I sponged some Summer Splash dye ink onto a piece of Sno Cone card stock for the background behind my white stitched frame. The bird and flowers were all colored with Copic Markers, cut out with the matching dies and adhered with foam tape. The sentiment was stamped and heat embossed with white embossing powder onto Black Licorice card stock. I added a few clear Pretty Pink Posh sequins for last!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoy your week and the last few warm days!
