MFT Creative Challenge - Tropical Paradise

Take a trip with us! The MFT Design team has been playing in a tropical crafting paradise for this month’s challenge. Palm trees, fruity drinks, and cool blue waters are are just some of the delights you’ll experience as we showcase stamps and Die-namics with a tropical theme.

For my card, I used the new Blissful Blooms stamp set and Die-namics which is filled with the most beautiful tropical flowers! I colored them with Copic markers and cut them out with the matching Die-namics. The background is Limelight card stock which I stamped with the Pineapples background stamp. Across the center of the card, is a piece of smooth white card stock which I cut out with the largest of the Double stitched Rectangle dies. I laid it horizontally and cut the edges even with my green background. I next cut a thin strip of the blue striped paper from the Dots & Stripes Fresh 6x6 paper pack and glued that down. I stamped my sentiment with Black Licorice hybrid ink, then adhered my flowers with foam tape. I added a few Pretty Pink Posh sequins for a finishing touch!
