Hello again!
I am back for day 2 of the My Favorite Things Release Countdown! I can't believe it is whizzing by so fast! Only 2 more day until all of the fabulous new stamps and dies will be available!
Be sure to check out the My Favorite Things Blog to see a full reveal of today's products, and to see what all the other fabulous design team members have done! All of the new products will be available July 7th at 10:00pm EST!
This release has been SO much fun to work with! I am always amazed at all the wonderful new products each month! Today I am featuring Birthday Wishes & Balloons stamp set and Die-namics and Brushstroke Birthday stamp set.
My first card uses Brushstroke Birthday stamp set, the largest pierced Rectangle frame, and the balloon from the new Blueprints 26. The little Happy Birthday is from Birthday Bears stamp set.
I used Distress inks on the balloon and speckled with water. The Wish Big greeting, I stamped with my MISTI using Grape Jelly, Blu Raspberry, Limelight and Daffodil dye inks. I cut the pierced rectangle from a piece of watercolor paper I had watercolored with Blu Raspberry Dye ink.
I scattered a few Pretty Pink Posh sequins around to look like Confetti!
My next card features Birthday Wishes & Balloons stamp set and Die-namics and the little stars are from Birthday Centerpieces Die-namics.
I watercolored the background with one of my favorite combinations of ink colors, Razzle Berry, Orange Fizz and Daffodil. The MFT dye inks seriously make wonderful watercolors! After that dried well, I drew the strings in myself with a black Zig pen. I stamped the Happy Birthday with Black Licorice ink and added a few little stars cut out from the Birthday Centerpieces Die-namics!
The balloons were stamped with the MISTI so I could add a little bit more color at the bottom for a shadow effect. I drew the highlights on with a white gel pen.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing all of the new products in use! They are so awesome!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Don't forget to stop by the MFT blog to see more wonderful things you can do with these fun new products!
See you tomorrow for the last day of the countdown!!
