MFT Die-namics Design Challenge

Hello friends! Join us for this month’s Die-namics Design Challenge as we go up, up, and away with projects featuring balloon Die-namics. Patterned, painted, textured, and peek-a-boo – so many fun embellishing options with this iconic image that just says party. Celebrate with us, won’t you?

For my card today, I used the Birthday Balloons Die-namics along with the Birthday Wishes & Balloons stamp set and Die-namics. I first cut a hole in a piece of scrap card stock and sponged my favorite color combination Razzle Berry, Orange Zest, and Daffodil, dye inks in the circle to create a focal point for my Happy Birthday Greeting. I cut out two each of the Happy and Birthday and adhered them together. I sponged some Grape Jelly ink along the bottom of the Happy and some Razzle Berry ink along the bottom of the Birthday. I glued those down flat. I cut the balloon strings from Grapecicle card stock and glued them all down. I stamped and cut out the balloons and adhered them to the top of the balloon strings with foam tape.  I cut the stars out of Daffodil card stock using Blueprints 25 and adhered them to the card. I added a few highlights to the balloons and stars with a white gel pin. Three clear 4mm sequins were added last!

Thanks so much for your visit today! Stop by the MFT Blog to see what all the other amazing design team members have done with this challenge!

Hugs,

Kay :)

  2. Your sponging is flawless, Kay! Wow! Are you using the Ranger circle tool or are you using wedges of another type of sponge? You've blended your colors perfectly in the circle and on your balloons. Your little details always enhance the overall design. I really like the bright and happy feel of this card. :)
