Hello with Penny Black!

Hello Friends!

I have a card to share today created with some adorable Penny Black stamps! Penny Black stamps are so much fun to color and they lend themselves so wonderfully to watercoloring, which I love to do!

Lot of fun things going on on this card! I started with a piece of blue card stock and used the beautiful Hypnotic stencil to stencil some blue ink at the top.  I watercolored the adorable birdhouse image with Sukura Koi watercolors, let it dry, and cut it out with a circle die. I adhered it to the stenciled panel with foam tape. I cut the Hello sentiment die out three times, and glued those just below the image. I added there clear sequins and a few little white dots with my gel pen. I adhered the whole panel to an A2 top folded card.

Penny Black Supplies used:

Additional Supplies:
Sno-Cone card stock and ink from My Favorite Things
Smooth White card stock from My Favorite Things
Signo White Gel pen
Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh
Sakura Koi Watercolors

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,

Kay :)

  1. Oh my goodness gracious, Kay! This is absolutely wonderful. I adore every detail. You are a wonder with watercoloring. Those birds and their house are so sweet and you chose colors that highlight the scene perfectly. Then you add that stencil on the background. Fabulous. Those white dots and sequins add just the right touch to make this shine even more. You and your work are amazing! :)
