My Favorite Things Release Countdown Day 3

Hello again!

I am back for day 3 of the My Favorite Things Release Countdown! Today I am  featuring the adorable new Pure Innocence Heartstrings Stamp set and Pure Innocence Heartstrings Die-namics.

Be sure to check out the My Favorite Things Blog to see a full reveal of today's products, and to see what all the other fabulous design team members have done! All of the new products will be available May 5th at 10:00pm EST!

I had trouble deciding if this adorable little girl with her guitar was going to go country or rock, but when I saw the sentiment "I hope your day rocks." I knew she was a rock star!

There's a lot of watercoloring going on on this card. I started with a piece of watercolor paper 4 x 5 1/4. I wet it down and dabbed on several different colors of purples. I let those run and then dry. I adhered that to an A5 top folded smooth white card base. I then watercolored another piece of watercolor paper the same way, but just with a little less paint, to have a softer look. I let that dry, cut it out with the Cross Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, and stamped the sentiment at the bottom. I colored the little girl with Copic makers, cut her out with the matching Die-namics and adhered her to the panel with foam tape.  I cut the stars out of the Blueprints 25 Die-namics and glued a few of those around along with a few purple sequins.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Don't forget to stop by the MFT blog to see more wonderful things you can do with these fun new products!

See you tomorrow for more MFT fun!!

Hugs,

Kay :)
