My Favorite Things Release Countdown Day 2!




Hello again!

I am back for day 2 of the My Favorite Things Release Countdown! I can't believe it is whizzing by so fast! Only 2 more day until all of the fabulous new stamps and dies will be available!

 First thing, I love flamingos!! LOVE them!! I have ever since I was a teenager! So just imagine how excited I was to see Flamingo dies!! Oh my! Now multiply that by 10! haha! Seriously, I love the new LLD Flamingo Die-namics! And the new LLD Tickled Pink stamp set is perfect to go with them! So today I am using those along with the new Cross-stitch Circle STAX Die-namics. 

Oh I love them!! Pink and aqua is also one of my favorite color combinations! 
So I sponged a little Peacock Feathers distress ink onto a piece of watercolor paper that I had cut out with the Cross-stitch Circle Die-namics. I adhered that to my card base with foam tape. I cut out the flamingoes and assembled them with mono adhesive and added a few little white dots with my gel pen. I adhered them to the circle with foam tape. I cut out some flowers from Fresh Cut Flowers Die-namics and the leaves were from Poinsettia Die-namics. I adhered those around with foam tape as well as two hearts I cut from the LLD Flamingo Die-namics. I stamped the sentiment at the bottom from the LLD Tickled Pink stamp set. Last, I added a few sequins to the center of the flowers.

    This card is truly delightful, Kay! How fun that you love flamingos! The ones you created here are fabulous and I adore how you paired them up on this card. The addition of the hearts and the flowers is just beautiful. Your background is terrific as well. I seriously need to try the flicking with white over the background. It adds great texture.
