MFT June Release Countdown Day 5!

Hello Friends!

This is the first official day of the My Favorite Things  June Release Countdown!  This new release is packed with amazing new stamps and dies and I am so excited to share my projects with you! I LOVE everything about this new release!! Be sure to check out the MFT blog for a full reveal of today's featured stamps and dies, and mark your calendar for June 2nd  at 10 p.m. EST when all of the fabulous new products will be available in the MFT online store!

Okay on to my projects! I have two cards for you today featuring the beautiful new Watercolor Flowers, Written in Watercolor sentiment, and Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics.

For this card, I used watercolor paper. I wet the whole sheet and with a paintbrush dabbed Razzle Berry dye ink into it letting the ink run and blend with the water. When that was dry I stamped the sentiment from Fall Foliage stamp set with Black Licorice ink. I stamped the watercolor flowers in various shades of pinks and reds - Ripe Raspberry, Bubble gum, Pure Plum, and Razzle Berry. I stamped the leaves with Sour Apple. I cut out all of the flowers and leaves with the matching Die-namics and adhered them with foam tape. I added a few 4 mm clear Pink Pretty Posh sequins.

For my next card I used Sno Cone, Blu Raspberry, and Tropical Teal for my blue flowers and Grapesicle, Lavender Fields, and Pure Plum for my purple flowers. The leaves are Sour Apple. The sentiment is stamped with Lavender Fields. Love that color!!

I cut out two of the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles out, one of Sno Cone card stock and the next size smaller of Smooth White. I stamped the sentiment then added the flowers with foam tape. I stamped the little heart and fussy cut it out and added it with foam tape. A few silver 4mm Pink Pretty Posh sequins were added to finish things off!

I hope you have enjoyed the first previews of the June release for My Favorite Things! Be sure to stop by the MFT blog and see a full reveal of todays products and see what all the other fabulous design team members have done!

See you tomorrow for Day 4!!

Hugs,

Kay :)
