I hope you all have a wonderful new year's eve and are ready for a great 2015! I'm ready, I'm just trying desperately to recover from the holiday goodness and find that familiar routine again. I'm kind of all over the place right now! haha! Not that that's a bad thing, I just feel floaty... can't seem to figure out what I am supposed to be doing. I've got a ton of new stamps and dies I want to play with, I got my clay out for the first time in over a month, and I want to knit.... too much funness and not enough me's! :D
Anyway, Paper Smooches just released some super fun new stamps and dies! Here is a card I made with the new Fruit People dies. They are SO cute! There is a matching stamp set, but for my card I used only the dies.
I paired the Fruit People dies up with the Flower Dies to create this cute little fruity pair! I sponged a little ink on the edges of the fruit and added a little bit of detail with my white gel pen! So fun!

Yes, I know the 'what am I supposed to be doing?' feeling after the holiday too. Thanks for your kind comment to me!
AWWW that is so cute! I love how you nestled the fruit over the flowers. So pretty and adorable!
ReplyDeleteAwesome use of the dies - I like the way you sponge the edge for depth - looks good.
ReplyDeleteOh, stop you're killing me with cuteness, Kay! This is like looking at a picture of a baby smiling ~ you can't help but smile back!! Hope you find your center soon. It's always hard after a literal whirlwind of good chaos and busyness and getting new toys. The only thing that works for me is making lists. Enjoy the weekend!! Hugs, Darnell

ReplyDeleteAdorable! Leave it to you to make fruit look fabulous! :D Your cluster looks terrific. Wow, you are being pulled in several crafty directions. I wish you luck in developing a schedule so you can work on them all. Maybe mornings for cards, afternoons for clay and evenings for knitting? Just a thought. I know you'll work it out. Happy New Year my sweet friend!
