Hi friends!
Today I am playing along with a couple of challenges!
Darnell's NBUS challenge
and
Kara's 200 Weeks of Inspiration Challenge
I got so much fun new stuff for Christmas I couldn't resist using some NBUS, and I am always so inspired by all of the gorgeous cards I see on Pinterest, that I really wanted to play along with Kara's challenge too.
For Kara's challenge I chose this absolutely adorable card by Kim. When I first saw this on Kim's blog I thought it was the cutest thing ever, so of course when I saw it on Kara's Friday Inspiration board I knew that was the one I wanted to CASE.
I didn't have the little Taylored Expression's Fox that Kim used ( but I will) so I used a cute little fox I got for Christmas from Cottage Cutz. The little tree is from Taylored Expressions.
Supplies:
Tree-Taylored Expressions
Embossing Folder- Taylored Expressions
Fox- Cottage Cutz
Stitched snow hill- Lawn Fawn
Sentiment- Papertrey Ink
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hugs,
Kay :)

ReplyDeleteStunning card, Kay!
ReplyDeleteTerrific card, Kay! What an adorable little scene. Who'd have thunk that "there's a die for that" would come into play in cardmaking. Dies for foxes? Very fun! I like all the details you added to make your scene, the "snow", the hill and of course the fox! Very happy you got lots of new goodies for Christmas because that can only mean more eye candy for us. Get busy, girl! LOL Big hugs!
ReplyDeleteAwwww so cute !!! Love the embossed BG
ReplyDeletelove your festive, friendly fox Kay! SO CUTE! Love your card design too! We've got snow! and cold! Perfect for the peace sentiment! TFS!
ReplyDeleteThanks for CASIng my card!!! I love Kara's inspiration files - I need to play along soon (I think it closes tomorrow). I like that you kept the back layer white on your card. I've been uncomfortable with my green layer - but once it was glued, I wasn't taking it apart!! I also like the "peace on earth" sentiment because that's exactly what this card says!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable! That little fox is just too cute! ♥

ReplyDeleteNew definition added to adorable, Kay, with this darling fox and oh-so-sweet tree, nestled in the wintry wonderland! I'm continually astounded by how you can create cute in such a sophisticated, classy fashion. Must be that abundance of talent you have *grin* and how fortunate we are you share it with us so generously!
