Festive Friday Challenge #41

Hello my friends!

Another week has flown by again, it is Friday already and  time again for another challenge at Festive Friday!

Here is the inspiration photo for this time. Isn't that pretty! Oh I love snowy wintery things!

Well I was limited when it came to sleds in my stamping stash, but I just recently acquired this adorable sled and tree stamp set from Simon Says! Oh it was just perfect!

First I cut out and mounted a very cool piece of background paper to my white card base. I couldn't believe how perfect that paper was! Next I cut out a white snow hill and glued it down. Then I  stamped the sled, tree, and darling little bird, and colored them with my Copic markers, then cut them out with the matching dies and mounted them with foam tape. I really like how this turned out, so cold and wintery :)

  • Supplies:
  • Stamps: Home for The Holidays from Simon Says Stamps, Sentiment- Papertrey Ink
  • Dies: Stitched rectangle and stitched snow hill from Lawn Fawn.
  • Paper: Very cool background paper - Winter Wishes from Echo Park

I hope you will play along with us at Festive Friday!

You can also check out the amazing talent from the other design team members at Festive Friday!

I'm also linking this up to the challenge at Simon Says Stamps Anything Goes.

Thank so much for stopping by!

I hope you all have a safe and happy weekend!

Hugs,

Kay :)

  1. What a fantastic card, Kay! That background paper is perfect! It adds so much to your scene! Blustery is the word that comes to mind. :) Your sled with the tree on it is colored wonderfully and I adore the pop of color from your sweet little birdie. As I said before, fantastic!!

  2. Oh Kay, I absolutely love your card. That paper was absolutely perfect for the rest of the items. I might need to add that sled and bird to my collection as I don't have any sleds in mine.

  13. Popping in before I head off to officiate the bike race to let you know your card is superbly stunning! The wintry ski, the sled with the tree, your colouring...doesn't get more winter wonderland than that, my friend!! The temperatures here are cold - guess who'll be wearing her oh-so-fashionable Sorel boots with the cozy wool inserts today...and longjohns, gloves, several layers of sweaters...Awesome card; awesome you!
