Do you know what this means? This means that I have a legitimate reason to make Christmas cards all year long! Not that I have ever needed a reason, because I always do that, but now I have a real bona fide reason! I'm happy :)
The first challenge starts on January 17th and I can't wait to share the card that I have already made! Yes, it's all made and ready! I am that excited! haha! I hope you'll join in on the fun too!
Well, I couldn't just pop in here with an announcement and not share a card too, so I'm sharing a little purple snowflake number that I did this week. I got some wonderful new stamps and dies from My Favorite Things for Christmas and I have been playing around with them. I love snowflakes and purple is my very favorite color... so here you go!
That paper is ancient! I found it in my unknown origin box and I remember it from scrapbooking when the kids were just teeny! It worked well with my other purples though :) The Love die is from Papertrey Ink, the snowflake stamps and dies, and the button dies are from My Favorite Things.
One last thing before I go. I'm officially tired of winter and snow. I never thought I would utter those words, but this winter has been brutal! I love winter and snow, but I miss my sunshine, and the UPS man who can't deliver my two packages because our road is a sheet of ice :(
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hugs,
Kay :)
Congratulations, Kay on your new design gig. It sounds like you were made for this one! Have a blast. What a pretty snowflake card. Non traditional in colors and I like that! I sort of kind of recognize that paper. I'm fairly certain I might have a piece of it in my have no idea where it came from box as well. I adore how you use your stamps and dies. May the warmth gods radiate upon your driveway so the ice melts and the UPS man can deliver your packages. Bet you wish they lived by the same motto as the postal service...neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow (or ice) will keep me from my appointed rounds....Fingers, toes and eyes crossed that you get your packages today!!!! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteFAB news Kay - you can never have too many Christmas cards!

ReplyDeleteApplauding loudly for your new DT role; another fabulous opportunity for you and we get to reap the rewards with what you create! I know all your cards will be delightful and dazzling, as this one here so clearly proves! Stunning in every way, from the shades of purple, with pink and blue accents, to the gorgeous MFT snowflakes (I need some MFT...one of these days I'll dive in...). You've definitely brightened my day with your card and especially your news!
