I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! I know I did.
It's Monday again and it's time for another challenge over at Muse.
The muse this week is Suzanne Dahlberg and the card she created for inspiration is soooooo adorable!! I wasn't inspired by just one thing I was inspired by every single thing on it! It's a "Kay" card for sure, pink, flowers, cute.... My interpretation of this cute card is JOY! It just screams happiness at me! And I hope it's okay, but I just copied Suzanne's whole card. I just loved it too much :)
I didn't round the top of the card though. I chickened out on that part, but if you want to know how she did it, you can check it out on her blog. She has a great tutorial! Suzanne's Tutorial
Look at it!! Isn't is amazing! :
So here is my interpretation:
All of the flowers are from Papertrey Ink. I cut the xoxo and the white border out with my Cameo and the papers are from K& Co.
I think I have my word verification turned off now :) Didn't know it was even on until someone mentioned it to me :)
Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a peek!
Hugs and happy week!
Kay :)
Oh my, Kay! You are too sweet. Thanks very much for your kind words...to be honest...I love your take on my card so much! You have perfectly added more patterns and colors into yours (orange! and more green! yay!) and I love the diecut edge that you added. Oh, this is just so beautiful. I am so touched that you were inspired by my card - thank you!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous! Your card is vibrant and beautiful!

ReplyDeleteKay your card is so happy and full of vibrant color! I love how you changed up the curve and have a kraft colored mat!!! So glad you joined us again at Muse!
ReplyDeleteKay, this looks fantastic! I really like the "twist" you've created...making the card your own. All of the elements work together so well. I can definitely see why this makes you happy! I checked out the video on the gal's blog that you referenced...what neat idea. I just may have to try that technique. LOL Have a great day. :)
