Gina K Designs: Grow Positive Thoughts

Hello there! I have a card to share with you today using one of the new stamp sets from the Gina K Designs August release!

The set I'm using is called Grow Positive Thoughts and the illustrator is Hannah Drapinski. Her florals are just amazing! This set really spoke to me with all the things we are dealing with in the world today.  We need to keep those thoughts positive!

So for this card, I stamped the image and the sentiment in Tuxedo black in on Gina K Designs Pure Luxury card stock. I then colored it in with Copic markers. I went around the outside of the design with a B60 and BV00 to help define the image and create some depth.

I chose not to color the face in with a flesh tone because I really loved the way the bright colors looked on just white.

I also wanted to thank you all for making me one of the top 100 Card Making Instagram Influencers most followed in 2020! I was honored when I received an email letting me know I was listed. So huge thanks to all of you who follow me there! Here is a link to the list if you'd like to see all of the other wonderful designers listed. So many friends!

Card Making Instagram Influencers for 2020

I hope you have enjoyed my card today and I hope the sentiment was inspiring. Focus on those things that bring you joy!

Hugs,

Kay :)

  4. That sentiment is so wonderful. Your coloring is gorgeous and I agree that the face left without color works perfectly. Nicely done
