Pinkfresh Studio: June Release Blog Hop

Hi there! It is time for the Pinkfresh Studio June Release! There are some amazing new products showcasing today! I can't wait to show you what I've created!

I'm using the Pop Out Hexagon stamp set, Simply Hexagons Die and Hexagon Floral Bunches dies.

I love hexagons! A lot of my artwork I do with cards and my clay revolve around six sided shapes. I love radial symmetry and playing around with patterns, so these products today were a lot of fun for me! I will definitely be making many more cards with them!

For my first card, I cut the Simply Hexagon die out of teal cardstock and glued this down to an A@ size white card base. I then cut more of the hexagons out of light teal, pink, dark pink and white cardstock. I used the stamps from the Pop Out Hexagons stamp set to stamp the patterns onto the cut out hexagons, then I glued those into the spaces with liquid glue.

I stamped the little floral piece in the center with black ink, and colored it with Copic markers. I then cut it out with the Hexagon Floral bunches die and added it to the center of the card with foam tape. The sentiment is also included in the Pop Out Hexagons stamp set and was heat embossed with white embossing powder and added to the card with foam tape as well.

My next card is done pretty much just like the first one except that I cut the Simply Hexagon die out of white cardstock, and glued it down to a light teal card base. I stamped the different patterns onto the die cut hexagons and added them into the spaces with liguid glue. I left all of the outside pieces out to create a fun flower shape!

I stamped the little bouquet of flowers, colored it with Copic markers and added it to the center with foam tape. The sentiment was heat embossed with white embossing powder and added with foam tape as well.

I hope you have enjoyed my cards today! Below is information on prizes and giveaways, the list of all of the contributing designers and supplies I've used are all linked.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Kay :)
