Hi there! I am super excited to be joining Sunny Studio Stamps for their Birthday Blog Hop to celebrate two amazing years! They have some of the cutest designs out there, and their newest release is absolutely adorable!
Sunny Studio Stamps is giving away prizes at each stop along the hop and you can also get a 15% discount on all retail order using the code. Be sure to leave a comment for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate!
My first card uses the new stamp set Jolly Gingerbread and the Jolly Gingerbread dies. I have a thing for gingerbread houses, so it was pretty much love at first sight when I saw this cute set! The background for this one I created by blending Distress Oxide Broken China ink and then splattered with Lindy's Azure Sea Asters spray. The Lindy's spray left a really pretty shimmer. I colored all of the images with Copic markers and glued most of them flat, but popped up the gingerbread couple with foam tape.
I cut out a snowy hill for them and added a strip of patterned paper and a strip of red card stock to the bottom. The sentiment is white embossed on black card stock and popped up with foam tape. I also added a few white splatters with some acrylic paint.
***
For my second card, I used the Christmas Home stamp set and Christmas Home Dies. Another set that I fell in love with! I love little houses, especially little Christmas houses! For the background on this one, I blended Blueprint Sketch and Peacock Feather's distress ink and splattered with Lindy's Frozen Jack Frost spray. Now that left a really pretty shimmer! I wish it showed up in the photo!
I cut a snowy border out and added a strip of black card stock along the bottom to create a road for my car. All of the images were colored with Copic markers and cut out with the Christmas Home coordinating dies. The houses were glued down flat and most everything else was added with foam tape. The sentiments were white embossed on black card stock and added with foam tape as well.
Above is the graphic with the discount code! Below is a list of all the participants in the hop! Be sure to leave a comment on my blog and on all the blogs along the way by Monday 11:59 pm PDT! The winners will be announced on the Sunny Studio Blog on Friday the 29th! I hope you enjoy seeing all of the fun projects!
