Tim Holtz Snow Globe

Hello!

I have loved Snow Globes forever, and when I saw the new Snow Globe Die from Tim Holtz, I had to have it! There are 23 dies in the pack and they are so fun to mix and match to make fun scenes! You can put them in the snow globe or use the pieces to create winter scene cards, which are some of my favorites to make!

So I have two cards to share with you today, that I made with the Snow Globe dies along with a few extras. I'm having so much fun making Winter and Christmas cards!

The background paper is an older pack from Bazzill called Countdown To Christmas. I am not sure if it's still available. The Snowflake is from Taylored Expressions. I just cut out all of the pieces and put the houses together, then layered everything with foam tape. The houses come with several different dies, so you can have the windows a different color. I love that!

The paper that I cut most everything out of is an older 12 x 12 pad I had by DCWV called Old World Stack. I love the texture on it.

This one I used mainly card stock for the different pieces, a little patterned paper for the one house and the background for the globe.  Also, instead of using the base of the snow globe, I cut a snowy hill using one of the Lawn Fawn Stitched Snowdrifts to go across the bottom.

The white trees are from Taylored Expressions, and the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink. I have linked to as many of the products I could at the bottom of my post.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you are all enjoying the holiday season! I am! Love it!

Kay :)

  1. Oh my gosh, Kay! How fun is this post?! Snow globes are so fun and this die set looks terrific. I adore how you achieved the different looks by using papers and cardstocks. You even changed it up with the "snowy" hill die. Looks like a little village I might like to go to to visit, that is for sure. Wonderful projects. Looks like you have been having some fun! :) Thanks so much for sharing! Hugs!!
