Beautiful Inspiration

Hello and welcome to the first group post for the November  Papertrey Ink  Release! The new products you are seeing here will be available in the store at Papertrey Ink on November 15th at 10:00 EST!

Today we are showcasing a gorgeous new set by Nichole called Better Together, along with the beautiful new Leaf & Sprig Frames dies, and Betsy's newest Inspired: Mercy.

For my first card, I used my favorite coloring medium, Copic Markers. I colored the flowers and cut them out with the matching dies. For the background I blended some of the new Prairie Grass green dye ink onto my white card base. I stamped the sentiment on another piece of white card stock, cut it slightly smaller than the frame, then layered the frame on top with foam tape.

After I glued the sentiment and frame down to the card base, I added the flowers with foam tape. I added a few white dots to the flowers with some acrylic paint.

This is a really quick and easy card for those of you who don't want to spend the time coloring each of the flowers in individually. Using watercolor paper, I embossed the group of flowers with white embossing powder, and then just randomly watercolored over the flowers and leaves. I was not trying to be neat, I just tried to get a little blue and purple somewhere close to the flowers ;) I then cut the largest frame out with the Leaf & Sprig frame dies and glued that around the outside. I stamped the sentiment with Amethyst Allure onto the banner from the Tag Sale: Quilted dies and added that with foam tape.

This one I did similar to the last one. I stamped the single flowers with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed them with white embossing powder. Then just randomly dabbed my watercolors around. The sentiment was stamped in True Black ink, and the Mercy word die was layered 4 times and glued down.
