Post & Parcel Make it Market Kit

Hello! I've been missing around here for a while because I am traveling with my family right now. We have been all the way around the Olympic Peninsula in Washington, down the coast of of Oregon and we're now in California. The Redwoods are on schedule for today! It's been gorgeous! I hope to have some photos to share on my blog when I get home.

I  am so excited about the new Papertrey Ink Make it Market kit Parcel & Post by Betsy Veldman! Seriously, this is one of the highlights of my year! I anxiously await the release of the Christmas Make it Market kit each year, because I know it will be stunning. Well  this year is no exception! It's beautiful! I can't wait to share my projects with you!

There will be a limited number of these exclusive kits available, so be sure to get yours on Saturday! The "Post & Parcel" Kit will be available for sale beginning on October 1st at 10pm ET, only at Papertrey Ink. Read all the details on Nichole's blog or contact Customer Service with any questions.

Here are my projects! This kit is a dream to work with!

My first project uses the adorable Letter Box Die. This was so fun to make and really very easy. It went together so nicely and very quick. We are having lots of family for Christmas this year, and I'm planning on making one of these for each of the nieces and nephews!

I cut the box out of Stamper's Select white card stock. I used the stencil to stencil the red stripes on each side of the box, then I used some of the patterned paper to cut a rectangle to fit the top and the front of the box.   Check out that little latch in the front and the tiny key! Isn't that the cutest?

There is a slot die that will cut a slot in the top for mail, but I opted not to used that, as I plan on putting some goodies in this cute little box.

I used only the pre printed elements to decorate my box. I cut them all out with the coordinating dies, and added them with foam tape. That is one of the things that I love about Betsy's kits, they come with the preprinted things you can cut out and use right away quickly, then you have the stamps that you can use forever!

My next project is a card I made featuring the stencils and stamps included in the kit. The stencils included are so pretty! You can stencil a beautiful winter background with them. There are some snowy hills, houses, trees, and falling snow. My hills are kind of covered up with my mailbox, but you can see the trees and the falling snow at the top.

I blended some Aqua Mist ink at the top of my card, and then stenciled the snowflakes with Fresh Snow. The trees I stenciled with Stormy Sea.  I stamped the mailbox with Berry Sorbet and stamped the snow on top with Fresh Snow and embossed it with white embossing powder. The greenery was stamped with Pinefeather.

I cut some little letters out with the small stitched postage die, stamped some of the sentiments on them, and tucked them into the mailbox along with the pretty greenery. The mailbox die cuts a slit in the edge, so you can stick stuff in there, and it looks like it's coming out of the mailbox. So fun! I stamped the sentiment in Pinefeather, and added the flag.

My last project is a gift card holder. The kit comes with lots of fun ways you can dress up your gift cards. I used one of the preprinted sheets and cut out the holder for the card. There is a die that cuts out the ribbon on the holder too, so you can slip the gift card right under the edge.

All of this will fit inside the gift card envelope you see there with the Baker's Twine wrapped around it.  I used one of the preprinted gift card envelopes and cut it out with the gift card envelope die. I added the Season's Greetings sentiment and the die cut greenery to the front of my envelope. So quick and easy and so many ways you could dress these up and make them look so different! Might stick one of these in all of the niece's and nephew's Letter Boxes!

I hope you've enjoyed seeing what I've done with the new Make it Market Kit: Post & Parcel. Working with it sure put me in the Christmas spirit!
