Super Heroes & Stars

Hello and welcome to the second group post for the March Papertrey Ink Countdown! Today we are showcasing some super cute products from Betsy Veldman! We have Dress Up Dolls: Super Hero and Paper Clippings: Congratulations!

All of the products you are seeing today will be available at the Papertrey Ink online store at 10:00pm EST on March 15th.

So I used my cute little super hero dolls to create some fun little gift boxes! First up is Super Girl! I used the box die from the All Through the House Make it Market Kit to create the box. I used Hibiscus burst for the sides and top, then made a mat with some Winter Wisteria and patterned paper from the Ombre Stripes Paper Pack.

I colored the paper doll and her outfit with Copic markers, cut her out and added her to the box with foam tape. The little tag she's holding is from the Holiday Pin Ups Kit.

And here we have Super boy! I created his box the same way as Super Girl's using the new Green Parakeet card stock ( which I love by the way) for the sides and top pieces. Again, I used the Ombre Stripes paper and matted it with some Hawaiian Shores card stock.

Again, he was colored with Copic markers, and adhered with foam tape.

My last project features the newest Paper Clippings: Congratulations. I just love these! They really make a fabulous and easy card! I blended Distress Ink on some watercolor paper for my background, then sprinkled it with water. I layered the Congratulations die twice, for a little dimension. I would have layered it three times, but that's a lot of little dots of glue! After dotting this thing twice, I decided that was plenty of dimension! haha!

I cut a few of the stars out with some Bright Buttercup and Lovely Lady patterned paper and added those to the die cut. I covered my whole card with some striped Bright Buttercup + White paper and then stamped the sentiment along the bottom edge. I layered the congratulations panel on top with foam tape.
