Peonies On Parade, Paper Clippings & Inspired

Hello, and welcome back to day five of the Papertrey Ink 2016 Anniversary Festivities! There are lots of fun challenges and huge giveaways going on so be sure to stop by Nichole's blog to participate!

All of the new products you are seeing shown will be available for sale at Papertrey Ink on February 15th at 10:00 EST.

We have more amazing products to share with you today! This is such an awesome release! Dawn has a beautiful new flower set called Peonies On Parade and Betsy has even more fun things with her new Paper Clippings series, Inspired By: Savior ( which I peeked yesterday) and stencils!

My first card up is using Dawn's beautiful Peonies On Parade stamp set and matching dies!

I watercolored. This set just screamed watercolor at me, but I can see it done beautifully with Copics too. I watercolored my background first with Peerless watercolors. The flowers I watercolored with my Zig Clean Color brushes, then cut them out with the matching dies. The sentiment is from the Scripted Dies.

I layered three of the scripted die cuts for dimension and added a few clear sequins to finish it up!

STAMPS: Peonies On Parade
DIES: Peonies On Parade, Scripted Dies
PAPER: Stamper’s Select White
OTHER: Waterproof Black Ink, Master’s Touch Watercolor paper, Peerless Watercolors, Clean Color brushes

This card features Betsy's new Paper Clippings: Happy Day. This die is just amazing! It is so intricate and gorgeous! I watercolored my background first then cut the die out of Stamper's Select white card stock. I used my Copic markers to lightly color the flowers and leaves.

I blended some Hawaiian Shores ink along the bottom edges of the words so that they would stand out on the white watercolor paper.

I also added a few little white dots to the centers of the flowers with my white gel pen. I am in love with this die!

STAMPS: Paper Clippings: Happy Day
DIES: Paper Clippings: Happy Day
INK: Hawaiian Shores
PAPER: Stamper’s Select White card stock
OTHER: Watercolor paper, Peerless watercolors, Copic markers

  20. Kay: you did a card for the Valentine Pin Ups release using the raccoon and a typewriter - how did you do the tail? My set only has one stamp and it's clearly been stamped twice with two different colors. I've contacted Papertrey and they don't know.
