MFT February Release Replay

Hello and welcome to the My Favorite Things Release Replay challenge where the design team is challenged to use some of the new products from the latest release!

Today our team is taking a fresh look at our most recent release with inspiring ideas and innovative takes on the complete collection. We love the opportunity to look at our products with fresh eyes, envisioning entirely new ways to showcase the possibilities they present. We can’t wait to share our ideas with you!

I am using the adorable Farmtastic stamp set and matching Die-namics!

I watercolored a background for my fun little farm scene here. I didn't use the tractor on any of my release cards, so I definitely wanted to use it, because it's just too cute! So I created a little scene with the tractor riding along the edge of the fence along with the rooster watching guard and the little bird out for a ride on top. Everything was colored with Copic markers, cut out with the matching Die-namics and adhered with foam tape.

The sentiment was heat embossed with white embossing powder on black licorice card stock and cut out with a stitched fishtail flag die.

Be sure and stop by the MFT blog to see what all the other design team members have done with this fun challenge!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Kay :)

  1. Such a fun, happy card! I played with Farm-tastic, too, but your card is way cuter!

  2. Great card, Kay! I definitely get a sense of the country with that big green tractor front and center. How fun that the chicken and bird want to hang out around it too. This just makes me smile really big. Super take on the challenge. Thanks for sharing!! :) Hugs!

  8. Coming from a family of 'farmers' (on both sides), I'm totally charmed by this set! You're tempting me big time to add it to my collection. The tractor is fantastic...
