Reverse Confetti SFYTT #31

Hello, it's time for a brand spankin' new Sketch For You To Try Challenge on the Reverse Confetti Blog ! It runs the whole month of December, so you have plenty of time to give it a try! Here's a peek of the sketch if you want to join in on the fun!

And here is what I did with it!

I can't get enough of those wreath dies, so I wanted to use them at least one more time before Christmas card making was over. I glued two together for the small green one for some dimension. I also glued three of the Joy die cuts together as well.

The patterned paper was some from my stash and the card stock was some older textured card stock from Stampin' Up! I added a few 4mm clear PPP sequins.

Be sure and head on over to the Reverse Confetti blog to see what the rest of the team has done with the sketch, and to play along for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store and claim the title of "Fetti Fave".

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,

Kay :)

Here are the Reverse Confetti products that I used for this card:

  1. Beautiful card. I like how you added dimension to some of the pieces by cutting more than one and gluing them together. On the joy especially, it just looks like you used a thicker cardstock. You can't even tell. Your whole design is very fresh, crisp and festive. Excellent work!! Hugs! :)

  4. Love this...stunning in its simplicity! I have a number of RC products that desperately need some TLC...but my ability to layer has completely eluded me! I'm going to try, over the holidays, to case some of your cards in an attempt to overcome that hurdle. Perhaps if a couple turn out alright, I'll feel more confident about striking out on my own! Thank you for being such a generous source of inspiration!

  5. Gorgeous card, Kay! I love how you layered all the elements, and the color combo is just beautiful! I'm really loving the font on these sentiments, too...thanks for enabling me, once again! (Hugs)
