Petite Places Through The Seasons

Hello and welcome back to the second group post for the November Papertrey Ink Release! The new products will be available on November 15th in the Papertrey Ink store at 10:00 PM EST.

Today's projects feature Betsy's new Petite Places: A Walk in the park. This cute set of stamps and dies work together with all of the Petite Places products to give you so many fun new options! A must have set in my book!

I used the new Petite Places: A Walk in the Park stamp set and matching dies to create four cards, each one just alike, with a few minor changes to mirror the different seasons.

I used the little cabin from Holiday Lane to create my house. I stamped it in different colors that I thought looked like the different seasons. The trees are included in the Walk In The Park set and I stamped them in different colors to match the seasons as well.  For each card, I also created a little cluster of flowers and greenery to reflect each season, and stamped an appropriate sentiment.

For my summer card, I chose a little brighter and bolder colors for my house and trees and used the cloud background instead of the sun rays.

I also glued everything down to a white die cut circle before adhering that to my card base.

Again, I chose more rustic fall colors for this one. I stamped the trees with Summer Sunrise and Orange Zest to create the look of the changing colors.

And last but not least, my little winter scene. Winter and Christmas are always my favorites. You can see how with this one I switched out the trees to the more wintery Christmas looking ones, that are included in the Petite Places: A Walk in The Park set. I also added the little snowman from the Holiday Lane set too. I seriously had a wonderful time making these! I hope they have inspired you to create some fun projects using the Petite Places Collection!

  8. Oh Kay! To start with, you used my most favorite building (because of its story-book charm) and concocted the very most charming scenes to place them in. You used those three wonderful round backgrounds to contain wonderful color palettes, and the additions of the smaller florals from other sets is the crowning touch. On a day with many amazing projects, these are truly stand-out. Thank you so much for your inspiration!
