MFT November Countdown Day 4

So today is day 4 of the My Favorite Things Release Countdown! You are in for a treat today! I adore Christmas and winter stamps and I love the new Winter Warmth stamp set and Die-namics we are showcasing today!

Be sure to check out the My Favorite Things Blog to see a full reveal of today's products, and to see what all the other fabulous design team members have done! All of the new products will be available Tuesday, November 3rd, at 10:00pm EST!

I just love this card! I don't know if it's the colors or the beautiful winter elements or both! I used the Pierced Rectangle Frames to create the background, cutting the inside part out of the green striped paper, and the frame part out with Sour Apple card stock. I made the small red frame by cutting the large rectangle frame out with the next smaller size one nested inside. I then used just the piece between the two frame dies. Make sense? I hope!

I then stamped all the fun elements, cut them out with the matching dies, and mounted them with foam tape. I added a few white dots with my white gel pen and a few clear PPP sequins! The sentiment is stamped in Black Licorice ink and it's from the Toasty Greetings Stamp set.

My next card here uses the flower and some of the dies from the Winter Warmth stamp set along with the mittens, hat and mug from the Warm & Fuzzy Die-namics, which is the free with $60 purchase set this month! The Winter Warmth dies and the Warm & Fuzzy Dies fit together perfectly to create a small white border, the Warm and Fuzzy ones being the smaller. So I cut the patterned paper out with the Warm & Fuzzy Die-namics and the white border with the Winter Warmth Die-namics. I stamped the sentiment from the Let's Get Cozy Stamp set and mounted everything with foam tape.

The rectangle in the background is the inside of the large stitched frame die-namics, and the paper is from the Fresh Squeezed paper pack. I added a few snowflakes using the Let It Snowflake Die-namics and the tiny flowers are from the Spring Garden Die-namics.

And that is it for me today!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Don't forget to stop by the MFT blog to see more wonderful things the design team has done with these fun new products!

Be back tomorrow with day 3 of the countdown!
Hugs,

Kay :)

  29. These are both such beautiful cards!! I love both of these cards!! They are both collages, but the first is done in the traditional Christmas colors of red and green, and the second, although still a Christmas card, is done with a winter theme in blue and white. I really like how a true scene wasn't created, but instead the different items were grouped by theme. Very unique and beautiful cards!!!!
