Reverse Confetti SFYTT #28

Hello friends!

It's time for a brand spankin' new Sketch For You To Try Challenge on the Reverse Confetti Blog ! It runs the whole month of September, so you have plenty of time to give it a try! Here's a peek of the sketch if you want to join in on the fun!

Here is the sketch for this month!

And here is what I did with it!

I watercolored my background with Peerless blue watercolors and mounted that onto a horizontal A2 white card base. I watercolored another piece of watercolor paper with greens, let that dry, and cut out the scalloped rectangle die from Love Notes. I cut out the Pretty Panels Confetti Cuts Diagonal Stripes die out of white card stock, and glued this down to the scalloped piece, then adhered them to my card with foam tape. The umbrella was colored with Copic markers and layered onto the circles with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment with black ink and tucked it underneath the green scalloped circle.

I added a few 4 mm clear Pretty Pink Posh sequins to finish it up!

Be sure and head on over to the Reverse Confetti blog to see what the rest of the team has done with the sketch, and to play along for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store and claim the title of "Fetti Fave".

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,

Kay :)

Here are the Reverse Confetti products that I used for this card:

  1. Neat card, Kay. I like the colors you chose and the umbrella for the play on under the weather. :) I sure admire your card building skills. I wouldn't have thought of using the diagonal stripes and they work so wonderfully. Great job. :) Hugs.
