MFT Die-namics Design Challenge!

Hello Friends!
Welcome to the MFT Die-namics Design Challenge!

My Favorite Thing's collection of Flowers and Leaves Die-namics runs the gamut from lovely layers to rolled dimensional delights; romantic, vintage, bold & graphic. There is a design for virtually any application and the team is sharing a little bit of everything for today’s Die-namics Design Challenge.

For my card, I used the Plentiful Petals Die-namics for the flower and the Poinsettia Die-namics for the leaves and the center of the flower. I sponged Bubble Gum, Daffodil, and Coral Crush dye ink onto some smooth white card stock and cut the petals out of that. I sponged Sour Apple dye ink on some smooth white card stock and cut the leaves out. For the background I used some striped paper from the Dots & Stripes Neutral paper pack then layered the stitched frame and background over that with some foam tape. I stamped the background with the Distressed Stripes background stamp with Grout Gray dye ink. I mounted the flower and leaves with foam tape and tucked the Simple Leaf Flourish under the flower with some glue. I added the Hello sentiment in Black Licorice ink. It's from The You Gnome Me Well stamp set. Lastly I added some 4mm clear Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

Make sure you stop by the MFT Blog to see what all the other amazing designers have done with this challenge!

Have a great week ahead!

  4. Wow! So soft and pretty! I think you're going to make me a true believer of cutting everything from white cardstock and sponging on the color. I have become so obsessed with my jumbo daubers by Tsukineko lately. Have you tried them? They are sort of shaped like a ball so for the first time in my life I don't get the annoying lines when I blend. You seem to have not trouble in that department though. Love this! :)
