MFT June Release Countdown Day 4

Hello again!

I am back again for day 4 of the My Favorite Things Release Countdown! I can't tell you how much I adore the products we are featuring today! Birdie Brown's new Penguins in Paradise and Adventure is Calling stamp sets are totally adorable!! Penguins in summertime at the beach!!! Oh gosh they are SO cute!!

Be sure to check out the My Favorite Things Blog to see a full reveal of today's products, and to see what all the other fabulous design team members have done! All of the new products will be available June 2nd at 10:00pm EST!

I had to make three cards with today products!! I just couldn't help myself!!

Isn't that little guy the cutest! Love him! The background was done with Salty Ocean distress ink. I used a paintbrush with water to create the waves. I layered a panel of smooth white card stock with a circle cut out with foam tape over the inked piece. I colored all the cute elements with Copic markers and cut them out with the matching dies, and adhered them with foam tape. The sentiment was stamped with Black Licorice dye ink.

My next card uses the same cute Penguins in Paradise stamp set and dies. This time I did a watercolor background for this little party penguin :)

I colored all the stamps with Copics again, cut them out with the matching Penguins in Paradise Die-namics and added them with foam tape. I mounted the watercolored panel to a smooth white card base with foam tape.

For my third card I used the new Adventure is Calling stamp set and Die-namics. I paired up the cute little girl with the palm tree and flower from Penguins in Paradise!

See, she is going on a tropical vacation, or perhaps she has just arrived in a tropical destination since the palm tree is already there :)
I used Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade, and Mustard Seed distress inks for the background. I flicked water on it and when it was dry, cut it out with the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle STAX. I colored all the stamps with Copic markers and cut them out with the matching Die-namics and everything was adhered to the smooth white card base with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment on a banner from Blueprints 20 and adhered it with foam tape as well.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Don't forget to stop by the MFT blog to see more wonderful things the design team has done with these fun new products!

Be back tomorrow with day 3 of the countdown!
Hugs,

Kay :)
