Festive Friday Reminder

Friday has rolled around again faster than ever and it's time again for another challenge at Festive Friday!

Here is another look at the beautiful inspiration this time around.

And here is what I came up with the second time around!

This time I created my own little wreath with some little pine branches from Lawn Fawn. I first embossed the background with a snowflake folder from Taylored Expressions. I cut out the white stitched panel and added the red patterned paper across it at an angle. Then I stamped, cut out, and assembled my wreath and adhered it to the panel with foam tape. I added the sentiment and the little red snowflakes.
  • Supplies:
  • Stamps:Deck The Halls-Lawn Fawn
  • Dies: Stitched rectangle- Lawn Fawn, Stitched strip- My Favorite Things
  • Snowflake Embossing folder-Taylored Expressions

I hope you will play along with us at Festive Friday!

You can also check out the amazing talent from the other design team members at Festive Friday!

Thank so much for stopping by!

I hope you all have a safe and happy weekend!

Hugs,

Kay :)

  2. I completely agree with Lynn's comment above mine! :) This is a fabulous card and I think the red pops magnificently against the white. To see the potential in dies and stamps the way you do must be so exciting! Have a wonderful weekend, Kay! :)

  10. nd the Queen of Die Cutting Extraordinaire showcases, yet again, why she reigns supreme in this technique domain! Good heavens, Kay, this is GORGEOUS! Other than the stitched rectangle dies, I don't have the same products as you've used (added to my wish list), but...I hope you don't mind if I case your card with what is in my collection. A set 'similar' to this card would be fabulous for the stash I'm creating for the Christmas Bazaar at the seniors' home where my mom volunteers. I'm in awe...

    1. Alright...apparently I'm so awe-struck and dazzled by your card, my spelling has been affected. That first word should be And, not 'nd'...yeesh!! Going back for another round of gazing and admiring...
