Oh happy day! It's overcast, drizzly and cooool today!! Highs in the 60's! That's fall weather if you ask me! I love it!
So I have a card to show you today that I did for the challenge at Virginia's View. This month the challenge is to use patterned paper. I do love patterned paper!
I also love t make little scenes, so I thought I would combine my two loves and create a little scene with patterned paper!
I used some of my new Lawn Fawn goodies and some of my old Lawn Fawn goodies for this one!
I cut the orange panel and the white panel out of the stitched rectangle dies. Next, I cut two different papers out with the same size rectangle die I used for the white mat. Next I used the LF stitched hillside borders to cut the hill shapes, then glued them down. Next I stamped the leaves and little tree and cut them all out with the matching dies. Then I colored the cutie pie pumpkins with Copics and cut them out with their matching dies also. Then I adhered everything to the panel with foam tape. Oh so fun to be making fall cards! Happy Happy!
Supplies:
Stamps: Sweater Weather and So Thankful by Lawn Fawn
Dies: Sweater Weather, So Thankful, Stitched Rectangles, Stitched Hillside Borders.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hope you have a fabulous weekend!
Hugs,
Kay :)
Kay, your little scene is darling - the epitome of fall! (we're getting that same cool down here, and it's HEAVEN!) Love the papers you chose for your hills, and that little tree and leaves couldn't be any cuter with the pumpkins at its base! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Virginia's View this month!

ReplyDeleteWay to rock the pattern paper :) love the sweet scene !!
ReplyDeleteGoodness, Kay, another jaw-cropping card (I'm going to have to explain the bruises soon, as you keep churning out charming card after charming card!) that captures the pretty colours of autumn to perfection. The leaves, pumpkin, background landscape...fall delights, all! Your "cooler' temps are considered warm in our part of the world! I'm ready for a return to heat!! At least the snow has melted on the ground, although the mountain peaks are already wearing their sweaters of snow. Fingers crossed we'll still have an 'autumn' - I have some 'transition' clothes to wear yet *grin*
