Festive Friday #40

Hello my friends!

Another week has flown by again, it is Friday already and  time again for another challenge at Festive Friday!




Here is the inspiration photo for this time. I have to admit, I was very inspired by this photo, mostly because it has pink in it, and I love pink at Christmas time!


Here is what I did with it:



I wanted my card to look a little bit vintage and victorian, so I stamped the lacy border on my white panel first, then added the strip of patterned paper to the edge. I paper pieced the cute little Paper Smooches ornaments, added a little bit of shading with my Copic markers and popped them up with foam tape. For the hangers I just cut thin strips of black card stock, glued them down and added the little bows. Lastly I stamped the sentiment at the bottom.
Supplies:
Stamps: Ornaments- Paper Smooches, Lacy border- Recollections, Tiny bows- Lawn Fawn, Sentiment- Lawn Fawn.
Dies: Ornaments- Paper Smooches, Tiny bows- Lawn Fawn

    Wow! Kay! This is beautiful!!! I love the softness of the pinks, but it is also very festive for the holidays. I wouldn't have thought to paper piece the ornaments. What a great idea! Love the vintage feel of the whole card. The font on that sentiment fits the theme so, so well. Excellent work! I'm in the mood! :)
