Getting to know Fancy Folk Art

Hi all!

Hope everyone has had a nice weekend! I sure have. I played most of the day yesterday and today in my craft room. I have said this before, but when I get a new set of stamps, I like to play with them for several days and make several cards with them and just get to know them a bit. So yesterday I got out Fancy Folk Art from Papertrey Ink. I've had it for a while and been wanting to play with it. Let me tell you, I am in love with this set! Oh it is fabulous! I love stamps that you can layer and stamp different parts in different colors and this set is just perfect for all of that. I had SO much fun playing with it.

I started with blues and browns for my first three cards, but I'm going to use some reds and pinks for my next few. Those I'll post in the next few days.

Anyway, here is what I did :)

And this one is my favorite of the three I do believe :)

Well, that's it for my piddling this weekend! I hope you'll stop by again to see the ones I do with the pinks and reds! I can't wait to ink up that set again!

Have a fabulous week!

Hugs,

Kay :)

  2. All beautiful Kay, I cannot pick one over the other. Your layered stamping is fantastic, that is what I need to brush up on with that set.

  3. I can see why you love sets where you can layer the stamping, when you can make cards as pretty as these with the layers. Wow! Great job! And thanks for answering my question about how you cut out the images. Should have figured it was that awesome machine. Add another tick as to why I want one. Hee, hee!

Can't wait to see the other color combination! Loved the results of your piddling. *Ü*

  8. Oh my all three are wonderful! I have to agree with you, I think the last one is my FAV too! I think that's just because I'm partial to kraft though.
