The Greetery: Merry Makings Collection Day 2

Hello and welcome to the second day of  full reveals for the Merry Making Collection coming to The Greetery! I'm so excited to show you some more of the projects that I made with this beautiful Christmas collection!

All of the products that I am using today will be available at The Greetery this Friday October 9th at 10 EDT.

Today we are showcasing:

  • Destination North Pole stamp and die
  • Snowflake Soire'e stamp, die and stencil

My first card features the new Destination North Pole stamp set and dies. This set coordinates with the Destination Maps Collection. You can use the stencils and dies along with the new Christmas images. I actually did not do that though. I wanted to create a little winter scene, because those are my favorite! I blended some blue ink for the background and made little dots in sky with white ink for the snow. The snowy hills were cut with the Drifting Dies that were released last year. All of the images were stamped, cut out with the coordinating dies and added to the card with foam tape.

My next card here features the new Snowflake Soire'e stamp set, stencils and dies. This set is exactly like the Pinwheels Collection but they are snowflakes! I love it! I had so much fun playing with different color combinations. I needed up going with the blues and greens for a wintery feel. I used the stencils to created the pretty snowflake border along the side. I then used the dies to create the Be Merry Sentiment. I added this to the card with foam tape. I then stenciled some separate snowflakes and tucked them under the sentiment with foam tape.

I really can't wait to make some more cards with this collection! Snow much fun! ;) LOL!

I hope you have enjoyed seeing my projects today! I'll be back tomorrow with even more Christmas inspiration!

  1. The are both so delightful (but not so sniffable-kok). Your first card feels so lovingly retro. To me it has a wonderful 50s vibe and I really like the reindeer peeking over his shoulder. Your scene cards always make me smile. And how fun is the second card. I love the idea of the pinwheels stencil set as snowflakes! Your card is simply beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful cards and your amazing design talents with us, Kay. :)
