Hi there! Today is the first day of the countdown for the May Release from The Greetery! Not only do we have an amazing new release, but we are also celebrating the Greetery's first birthday! I can't believe that it has been a whole year since Betsy opened up The Greetery! I know I wasn't the only one who was thrilled about that! I am very grateful to be on the design team for this wonderful company. It has been a great first year!
Now on to the good stuff! We are introducing The Confetti Collection! It's full of beautiful florals, balloons, cakes, and of course, confetti! Everything you need to create fun cards and projects for birthdays and other celebrations!
Today we are showcasing Balloon Bouquet stamps and dies, Birthday Blooms stamps and dies, Big Balloons dies, Ticker Tape Background, Twisted Crepe die and Think Happy stamp and cut combo.
My first card uses the Balloon Bouquet stamp set and coordinating dies, the Ticker Tape Background stamp and the Twisted Crepe die. For the background, I stamped the Ticker Tape background in blue, then I did some ink blending over the top with distress inks. I speckled this also with some white ink.
I stamped the pretty floral bouquet in blues and glued this to the the largest die in the Big Balloons die set. I used the Silver lining die for the clouds at the bottom and the small sentiment is from the Birthday Blooms stamp set. I glued an extra little cluster of flowers down under the sentiment.
This card uses the new Birthday Blooms stamp and die set. This set is so pretty! I love the graphic style of the flowers and the fonts. So many ways you can arrange the sentiments with the flowers. I really had a lot of fun with this one :)
I really liked the way it looked with the you stamped in a lighter color, almost like a reflection.
My last card features the Think Happy stamp and cut combo. Really cute little set, that die cuts a rainbow and cloud full of flowers along with some fun sentiments! The background was blended with distress inks and then speckled with more of the same.
I filled the cloud in with flowers cut from different colors of cardstock. I stamped the main sentiment in blues and the small Let's Celebrate sentiment is from the Birthday Blooms stamp set.
